"Oh," He blinks, tilting his head to the side a bit, “Afraid of thunder?” A small grin tugs at his lips, head ducking in a small nod before he shrugs his shoulders and casts her a dismissive wave. “I guess it is pretty loud. There’s also lightning, which sucks.”

He would have liked to comment on how he understands the way her ears might be more sensitive to it, if he hadn’t quickly remembered that he wasn’t supposed to know about those ears.

“Sounds good to me,” His gaze follows her motion to settle on a small shop, windows lit and looking pretty welcoming in the darkness of the storm, "Hopefully they won’t mind if we just poke around until the rain passes.”

-- She rolled her eyes at his statement, going silent. While she wasn't exactly afraid of the thunder; it was definitely causing a slight migraine to form. There wasn't really anything she could do to help herself, however. "I don't think they will. The couple who run the store are very kind," she replied, carefully heading over to the small store she had pointed out to him.

"It's just until the thunder passes, at least."
