logan huntzberger is the PERFECT boyfriend. he single-handedly carried the last few seasons, but his storyline with rory was so rushed towards the end. it didn't make sense that he would propose to rory that suddenly, and would be an "all or nothing" guy. he would be the LAST person to force a choice on somebody and it's so out of character for him not to factor rory's career and wishes in his life. i feel like the authors were so desperate to put an end to their relationship, considering that it happened in the SECOND LAST EPISODE, and that the breakup wasn't talked about a lot after it happened even though it was rory's longest, most stable, and most serious relationship. seriously, rory was more sad over logan leaving for london than actually breaking up with him :/ forever pissed, but trying to convince myself that rory didn't deserve him anyways so it was for the better :)

here are my top 5 animes as of february 2021!

1. attack on titan

this one is pretty self-explanatory. genuinely one of the best shows i've watched. the character development is chef's kiss, the plot is batshit crazy, and every aspect of the show is so well-excecuted. it has so many good characters that are so well-written and simply saying they're "good" won't do them justice. it's just a good show to watch and you just get hooked to every scene. season 4 is out right now and it's all i can think about every week. i have literal chills while watching it.

2. vinland saga

if attack on titan's characters' development is good, vinland saga's is godly. the story feels so real and is so heartwarming to watch. it made me tear up in a lot of the scenes. it also has askeladd, one of the best antagonist of all time. everything he does is so wrong, yet you still find yourself rooting for him and following him. i cannot wait for season 2.

3. fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood

this is the first anime i've watched, and this is what got me into anime. it's a classic and deservedly so. it's such a fun show to watch yet it has such important and heartwarming messages. the ending was literal perfection and i have no words for it. it feels so full circle and right and it triggers so many emotions from you. i genuinely can't stop thinking about this show weeks after i've finished it.

4. the promised neverland

i binged this series in one sitting. it was such an addictive show and you literally can't stop watching. the plot is very smart and there are a lot of unexpected plot twists that still makes sense in the show. overall, it's a really good show to watch. season 2 is ongoing, and even though i prefer season 1, it's still a very good season.

5. death note

this is the kind of show that makes you question morals and humanity. the plot is so well-written and it is so addicting to watch. the protagonist is also very well-written. the show aims to show humanity's naive moral compass, and it does a great job at that. it makes you ponder on humanity itself, which makes it such an eye-opening show to watch. you can view the show from so many different aspects, which is why i like it so much.

i love love love erwin smith from attack on titan. he's such a well-written character AND HE HAS SO MUCH DEPTH. i don't think i have encountered any kind of character quite like him before, and i'm so happy i did. he is definitely one of my favourite characters ever, and not just in aot.

the mind this man has and the things he's done is BATSHIT CRAZY. but at the same time he still feels so relistic and raw and just SUCH A WELL WRITEN CHARACTER.

i LOVE this netflix miniseries. i love chess but it's been a while since i played or watch videos about it, and this show just made me fall in love with it all over again. AND THEY HAD MF GARRY KASPAROV to consult in the movie.

harry potter is that one series that everyone will still love no matter how long it's been because everything is just so magical and pure and nostalgic. i cannot describe how perfect it is and it will always hold a special place in my heart. you literally cannot grow tired of it. everytime you go back to the books you're reminded of the friendship, the world, hogwarts, the teachers, and just good fucking memories. chef's kiss.

i don't care what anyone says but "an amber in the ashes" series did helene aquilla dirty. her family was murdered in front of her because she couldn't kill her best friend, and she still regretted that she ever thought of it. she wants to save her sister through any means and her best friend hates her for doing so. how is that any different from laia saving darin?? if laia did what helene has been doing, elias would've called her powerful. did i lie tho?
