I dream to go to a place where no one knows who I am. Where my identity is unknown to the entire population.

It will be in a remote location so that when the people around meet me, I almost don't know how to introduce myself.

Maybe then, I will discover who I truly am.

Holiday season makes you happy right? Makes you know who is important in your life? That's how it is for me. I love it. I get to spoil the heck out of the people I care about most, which is only a handful of people. But what happens all the time is that I think of who was important in my life. People who have come and gone, almost without a trace, except for the few pictures taken and minimal momentos.

I've lost a lot of important people in the past couple years since my graduation. Few from distance, many from just drifting apart, and one from death. These peoples' smiles, engraved into my heart, hit me every time around the holidays. I miss having the little secret santas/gift exchanges. But if you want to do that, you have to have friends. (Everyone knows that I do not have those)

It's okay. I have my family and my amazing boyfriend. But it would be nice to know that there was a group of friends that I waited to see every so often to just catch up on life. I miss that feeling. The feeling that friends actually miss me, that I actually matter...

To My "Best Friends"

You fucking liars. You too faced deserters.

You sit there on your high thrones pretending to be above the rest. It's true, don't get me wrong. You are definitely a part of the "well-off" part of the community that is Oxnard. But you stand there on your mantel acting like you're below with the rest of us "normies".

Stop pretending. Because every word out of your pretentious, mouth makes me ooze disappointment. Disappointment that I always put myself down being your friends because I didn't have as much as you did. That my parents weren't able to provide as much for me as your parents did for you. I didn't like myself throughout high school because of THINGS that you had. How sad and pathetic of myself.

I worked on myself. I doubt that you will ever notice the amount of work that you need to put into yourselves.
