any excuse to dress up in something ridiculously eye-catching and drink openly is a good one, if you ask sunny — so she’s a pretty big fan of halloween. mostly just for the parties, though.
does your character celebrate halloween, or is it just another day for them?
the day itself is not special most of the time, a day just like any other but she does celebrate at night usually by bar hopping with friends.
as a child, what did your character think of halloween?
it wasn’t something her parents put much effort in, honestly. they’d get her a costume for a picture, but she never got the chance to trick or treat or do any other usual halloween activity.
what is the most fond memory your character have of halloween?
according to sunny, the best halloween is the one you don’t completely remember, so she couldn’t give any specific memories, but she does have a favorite group of friends she went out with.

probably one from when she was a kid, where the whole family would pose for these nice pictures and she was immediately made to change out of the costume so that it could be returned to the store.
what are their plans for halloween this year?
pre-drink with some friends, hit up a club or two and pray to god she wakes up coherent enough to cram for an exam she has the following monday.
lastly, what are their biggest fears?
being powerless, losing control. she’s worked extremely hard to be in control of her own life — if anything were ever to take that away from her again, she’d probably fall apart.

to sunny, jaejin was like an enigma — people like him just didn’t exist in her mind, people who were kind while expecting nothing in return. sleeping on his couch had become a semi regular thing nowadays, especially when the man wasn’t home, but the care and attention he gave her when he was around wasn’t something she was used to, or something she knew how to accept most of the time.
still, sometimes she found herself craving his presence, much like today. they were friends, there was no denying that, but a part of sunny wouldn’t allow her to just show up at his home unannounced so, instead, she sat in the university’s library and attempted to study for a few hours, until she caved and grabbed her phone, pulling up jae’s contact information to text him.

her parents had a shotgun marriage very young because her mother was pregnant with her and neither of her grandparents wanted their children to have children out of wedlock.
her father saw her as a business opportunity, her mother saw her as someone to live through.
her family never had much money, but they always acted like they did. they rack up their debts and never pay them back.
sunny was expected to be the perfect child to fit the image that her parents were giving to the world but, truth was, they didn’t care about her all that much.
when she was fourteen, she was forced to get a job to help keep up her parents charade. she was never allowed to keep any money for herself, nor did her parents ever spend it on her.
they kept demanding more and more money from their daughter as she got older, and she started doing desperate things in an attempt to give them what they wanted, in fear that they would do something awful to her if she didn’t.
she kept this up until she almost had a nervous breakdown her first year of college, literally ripped the house in half and left.
she hasn’t spoken to her parents since then, couch surfing and getting herself covered in tattoos as a big ‘fuck you’ to them. she also stopped using her body as a way to make money, instead making a little money as a nail tech while she tries to keep up with school.
because of how she looks and acts, a lot of people would assume she’s just a loud mouthed ditzy girl but they would be wrong
the girl is in aerospace engineering she smart as hell
she’s got a very blunt personality, she likes going out as much as possible so she doesn’t have to worry about where she’ll sleep at night.
