Professor Sevika caught the shy girl smoking
You werenât even shy.Thats what always got to you.You just didnât feel the need to bother with answering the professorâs questions because the answers were always stupidly obvious, to you.
You were never a bad student nor the most perfect one, your seat in the middle, your exam points never entering the dangerous zone that could fail you and your speaking tone always controlled.
That was before Professor Sevika made you stay after class while everyone else left, offering you to sit next to her desk while you just shook your head no.
"This has never happened before.â, she grunted while placing the paper on her desk, pointing to the dissatisfied low amount of points.
"You got something going on youâd like to tell me, hm?â, she asked again when you continued to be quiet.
A quiet "no, I just didnât have time to study, thatâs all.â left past your lips while you picked up your paper from her desk and gave her a nod while muttering "I have to goâŚnext class is almost starting.Iâll do better next time, Professor Sevika.Promiseâ
"Did she turn into a brat?â Sevika scoffed to herself as she watched you leave quickly as if failing your quiz wasnât a big deal.Professor Sevika always took you as a smart, shy young woman whoâs got potential.Though it kind of made her interested in knowing what other sides you had.Did you even have any, was her question. She just couldnât figure you out.
Yeah, well, while she wondered about that, you were walking to your usual smoking spot behind the building with your cigarette already between your fingers, squatting down to finally light it.
The smoke burned through your throat but it burned so good you stopped saying you want to âquit smokingâ a long time ago.
Itâs been long enough for you to smoke half of your cig when you heard strong footsteps next to you..
âIs this what youâve been doing instead of studying? Weed, seriously? I thought you were better than thatâ - She spoke in that annoyingly controlled tone. Her eyes were scanning you, taking this different side of yours in. Your head could not be turned around faster when you heard her voice, your legs automatically straightened your body up. Your expression was amusing, she thought -scared and caught off guard.
"Itâs not! Itâs not weedâ-You tried to explain as quickly as you could before the situation could worsen, your hands almost shaking.
"Wouldnât care even if it wasâ - she shrugged her strong shoulders before taking the cigarette from your hand and placing it between her own lips, taking a seat on the cold floor next to where you were standing.
"Youâre a good girl, wouldnât rat you out even if it means losing my job tooâ - she added in a âas a matter of factâ tone, looking up at you with the same grey eyes that always searched for you in the lecture hall and always looked out for you in the auditorium.
Too bad you never noticed that.
Lowk donât know how it should end
