BioShock Infinite — motionresque [x]
I’d rather they take their time and make a good game than rush it and we get a bad one
Titanfall 2: Weapons

I need you to understand a shotgun does not become completely useless if whatever you're shooting at (ex: a charging brute) is more than 1ft away
DMC Story idea
DMC 6, Nero is the lone demon hybrid protector of Earth while Dante and Virgil still are stuck in the demon realm.
Enter Caligula, a clear human demon hybrid with strength to match Nero, and the ability to manipulate his shadow in a manner similar to V's familiars. He beats Nero senseless in their first encounter and demands to know where his father and uncle are
Caligula is revealed to be the son of Mundus. When questioned by Nero, Caligula reveals he is aware of his father's distaste for humans, but remarks he was not an idiot, he would never pass up a method to expand his power. He watched Dante and Virgil, and sensed in them potential to surpass Sparta, he saw the power a human-demon hybrid could weild.
Mundus sired Caligula for the purpose of hunting down and killing Dante, after it became clear Nelo Angelo would not be up to the task.
Caligula was trained from birth by Mundus who forced him to fight demons constantly in the underworld, while his father clearly only saw him as a tool, training in the use of his demonic powers in a way Dante never did granted him immense demonic power
Caligula and Nero strike up a tense alliance, they both need to free Dante and Nero from the underworld.
DMC 5′s Story
Seeing some people complain about DMC 5′s story is too simple or not impactful enough so here is my take.
DMC 5′s story is HEAVILY geared towards long time fans of the franchise. If you have been watching the character of arc of Vergil for years then watching him finally reject humanity entirely and becoming the embodiment of evil, is very impactful. If feels like he finally has gone too far, further than many fans would have thought even he would go.
Dante and Vergil’s final battle atop the qlipoth with both determined to kill the other once and for all felt like an incredibly epic conclusion, the culmination of their years long struggle, if you’ve been watching their stories all this time it was a heart wrenching moment when both went full devil trigger and lunged knowing only one would survive
But again, that is IF you have been following their character ark. If your first DMC game was 5, then you're not really going to care about Vergil enough to feel impacted by his decision.
Now DMC5 is the fifth installment in a series and was meant to be the conclusion to Vergil and Dante’s story. So I can’t entirely fault them for gearing the story towards people who have been, you know, following it. Halo 3′s ending certainly wasn’t as impactful if you didn’t play though 2 and see everything the Arbiter did and went through.
But at the same time, I do think games should make their stories more accessible to new fans than other media like books. No one picks up a book series starting with number 3, but that is pretty common in the gaming world.
So in conclusion, do I think the writing was “lazy”? not at all, I think they very intentionally made the decision to gear the story towards long time fans, and they did a great job of doing that. As someone who did play earlier games it did feel incredibly impactful to watch Vergil turn his back on his family portrait, and wipe away his humanity with the Yamato, because I understood the symbolism and the character arc. While I think some critique can be fair, I don’t think its right to dismiss the story as lazy or simply bad.
At some point in Halo Infinite Chief must ask the arbiter what the translation of "wort wort wort" is
And then we find out that it essentially translates to what 12 year olds scream on xbox live
Thus all halo multiplayer dialogue becomes canonically accurate
WITCHERS ► IN THE WITCHER 3
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are surely unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives…

Master Chief throughout the years
If there was a movie where Vergil and Loki team up to go after Dante and Thor I'd watch the shit out of that
Their place of internment remains unknown.
