Oh, if I could make sense of it all! I wish that I could sing I'd stay in a melody I would float along in my everlasting song

Was feeling shoegazy today so The Kiddo did my nails and I played plenty of Lush, Slowdive, and Cocteau Twins.
The sky looked like this as I toasted myself at the onset of an honest-to-goodness three day weekend, waiting for my son to wake up from a (very) late afternoon nap, listening to this http://dpo.st/qDXCS8
Thunderdome comes to Denver... "Two men enter, one man leaves!"
Morning stretch in Denver...
I am a tree! Near Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park...
Taken last night, just after 8:00.
Kiddo and I went for a walk after this evening's rain storm and as we made our way across the neighborhood schoolyard we ran right into our neighborhood fox. He backed off, I picked up the kiddo and did the same. Then he politely waited for us to leave before he left as well.
With her grandmother's face and her father's brown eyes, her own force of will to her mother's surprise - A whole look about her that says that she may... http://bit.ly/qtcSwd
It rained this afternoon in Denver... It really, really rained. This was taken in the King Soopers parking lot in Mayfair at about 7:00. Based on what a few other people told me, this car was even more submerged than what is pictured here. A few moments after I took the picture, the car was moved out of the water, but the owner was distraught by the damage done to the car's interior. A strange afternoon, hope everyone got home safe.
Just a dog and his cowboy hat... who I happened to come across on the 16th Street Mall today.
Kiddo contemplating all the books at Tattered Cover on Colfax...
Sunny Sunday afternoon from atop the children's wing of the Denver Botanic Gardens...
Latest freak in vegetable line is turnip elephant... Or so said The Denver Post on November 17, 1904. Thanks to my friend Barb who stumbled upon this while researching another item.
The Bugs Bunny Treatment... So Kiddo and her cousin - both four-year-old girls - got their hands on the cat this morning and dressed him up. How they survived without any bites or scratches no one is quote sure. Kitty was overwhelmed, to say the least...
I did, however, come across this fine example of yarnbombing on a bike rack.
A crane in the hand... I went to check out reports of a guerrilla art installation outside DAM over my lunch break, alas, when I arrived it was already gone, save a few cranes scattered on the ground. I wanted to take one home with me, but I didn't feel like it was mine to take.
