He looks back at her, a small smile making its way to his lips. “If you want to call it fake, I guess that’s a good word for it isn’t it?” He patted her head lightly. “Tell me when you want to play pretend, alright?” With that he chuckled at the girl. "By the way, I didn’t catch your name earlier. I’m Hare."

(she laughs a bit when he pats her head and looks up at him) Ah, you’ll really play pretend with me? That’s great!! 

And my name’s Lotte! It’s a pleasure to meet you!

"Of course I will. It will be an honor." The coral haired boy bended down and gently pecked Lotte’s hand with a kiss. "It’s a pleasure to have met you as well."

!!! (avoids eye contact nervously) What a gentleman..!! I’ve never had someone kiss my hand before! (giggles, bringing a hand up to her face.) I feel like a princess!

He was surprised to find out that she wasn’t a princess. He noticed though that he made her a bit nervous. ‘I hope I didn’t come of as a weirdo’. “You know, you really do look like a princess. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, miss Lotte.”

Oh, it’s alright! I’m fine! (gives him a reassuring smile) What if I was a princess, though? (she turns away to strike an over-dramatic pose, using this opportunity to skip straight to playing pretend with him.) Will you be my gallant knight?

How adorable she was. He decided to play along. He bowed to her as if she was royalty. ” I will protect, from here on out, the princess Lotte.” This was actually very fun. He thought. “I swear under my life.”
