So you have events coming up early this summer and you desperately need a new piece in your closet that will work for all events... memorial day BBQ, a baby shower of your childhood best friend, a Fourth of July party, or those 4 weddings coming in June (we all know wedding season is around the corner, yes it’s that time again).
Segway into the retail giant AMAZON, where I pretty much get anything and everything I need from an earring back to a trendy lunchbox to now...standout (more affordable) designer pieces and other miscellaneous fashion items you can’t pick up at macy’s.
Recently, I have been seeing marketing for Amazon fashion everywhere, and I mean everywhere! So I decided to give it a try and here is what I found:
-designer items for less (currently a 30% off sale on watches, like this Fossil piece that can be paired with about just any outfit...or even this smartwatch if you prefer to be more “with the times”)

-instead or the regular model pose you see on every apparel site...amazon gives you a virtual 360 look at how the dress or jeans move and bend, pretty cool as to give you some perspective in how that would look on your body (example below)

-I would like to see some type of feature where you can virtually try on the clothes...because we all know the sadness of ordering an amazing dress we saw online only to discover it’s 5 inches too short, extremely tight, or whatever might be the case
-If you really want to crush macy’s, norstrom and nordstrom rack, lord & taylor etc., then you need to show images of the products that make them look exciting, or do something different that no one else has thought of yet...you are Amazon after all. I have an idea coming...pop up shop, you tell me?
All in all Amazon is one versatile retail giant and they will quickly find a way to smooth out the kinks in their fashion department. Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales etc. you better look out!
