The moderators had him stop talking about the whole situation w Sophia bc other spaces were playing it in theirs simultaneously. Jojo also was supporting him against any racism stiff, said he knows they don't know him, that he's a good person, etc.

Okay let me try to recap this as best as I can for everyone (if there’s parts I missed let me know)

So there’s a girl named Sophia who basically pretended to be friends with a bunch of influencers for months and scammed them all out of *allegedly* millions of dollars. It seems she met a lot of them in Miami the weekend of the TikTok/YouTube boxing fight. She met Jeff and Maggie that weekend - it sounds like she played a lot of he said she said with people. She told Maggie she had been working for Jeff as his editor and dog sitter since October of 2020 and that she was living in an apartment in Jeff’s building that he owned. She told Jeff that Maggie was her best friend. Obviously none of this was true and turns out she didn’t actually know either of them but she used them both to get in with each other, telling them all opposing lies. It sounds like she also went to the Kabob shop and met Suzy and basically tried to befriend her there by telling her a sob story about her boyfriend stealing her Apple Watch? Not really sure. But Sophia told Maggie and Jeff she was really good friends with Suzy as well.

I didn’t get all the details but it sounds like basically Sophia at one point told Jeff a story about how she was raped and needed money to get a flight back home and so Jeff gave her his credit card (😬) to help her out, which is where she scammed him obviously. Sophia apparently used Jeff’s name to get in with a bunch of other influencers, always telling them that she worked for him and the other influencers told Jeff on the call they thought he was an asshole because of the things Sophia would say about him 🙈 obviously all of these things were lies, it doesn’t seem Sophia really even spent much time with Jeff at all and he helped her without knowing much about her at all.

Oh and Maggie at one point mentioned that Sophia told her that Suzy was her best friend and that Suzy hated her 🙈 to which Jeff jokingly said “me, Suzy and Maggie are in a love triangle” and Maggie said “no we’re not”

Jeff was trying to make jokes the whole call and none of them were landing at all so that was awkward lol.

The people defending this scammer are and they are bringing up past rumours. It is ridiculous and hurtful. Jeff is a good person and did none of what these weirdos are accusing him of .

He literally tried to help someone out of the kindness of his heart and the person took advantage and now these weird people are twisting Jeffs words and spreading rumours. These types of rumours are damaging and disgusting.

i think most things going on are honestly based off stuff that's completely false /: like i don't get how he's being dragged for getting scammed trying to help a girl?? and everyone talking about being racist and i didn't hear the whole space but i caught part of it and i didn't think anyone in the initial space made it a race thing .... and everyone trying to discredit him by saying he has sa allegations against minors and it makes me sad ppl can just run with that narrative when it would take 2 seconds to do some research and see there's no truth to that

Exactly and it’s not fair on him at all. I just feel so bad for him as well because he must feel like he got taken advantage of and everyone’s clowning him for it :/ he didn’t do anything wrong apart from help someone in need
