QUINTESSA SWINDELL // have you seen EMERSON THORNE around town? We’re trying to make sure they’re still in town, especially with everything that’s been happening lately. THEY are a TWENTY THREE year old NONBINARY. currently residing in Perfection Valley, but they’re originally from SHENANDOAH, VIRGINIA. they are best known for being a BOTANIST, and i hear they’re pretty OPTIMISTIC yet also IMPULSIVE at times; i hope they continue to survive. 

Before I introduce Emerson, I guess I should introduce myself. Hello, I'm Kaitlyn or Kait as I prefer to be called. I go by she/her and they/them pronouns. I am 21 years old. I’m a computer science major and I'm currently doing online school to finish my degree because of a bunch of problems I've had with school but enough about me. 

Emerson was born in Shenandoah, Virginia. Their mother was a professor at the university and their father worked for the national park. 

Emerson loved going to work with their dad as plants and nature always captivated them. Being outside with the wildlife always calmed them down and that’s when they felt truly happy. 

Emerson always had a small garden at their house. They grew all types of plants from vegetables to flowers. 

Emerson never made the best grades, but they weren’t awful and they tried their hardest but school wasn’t something that interested them. They preferred going camping and hiking which their parents made sure they were able to do on weekends. 

After high school, Emerson went to Shenandoah University where their mother taught. They studied Environmental Studies and Biology as they weren’t quite sure what they wanted to do when they were done with college. 

After graduating from college, Emerson went on to get a masters in botany and is working on getting their Ph.D. online. 

Emerson moved to Perfection Valley about a month ago because they had heard of the weird things going on and after the sudden death of their father in the spring they needed to get away from home. 

Emerson works at the Rosenbloom research facility which is helping them do research for their thesis. 

Emerson is a very optimistic and kind person, but when they get mad they tend to stay mad for a long period of time because they don’t deal with negative emotions well. They are very impulsive and known for not thinking through their decisions which is probably why they have so much useless stuff in their apartment.

Um… I’m Tabitha. And I’m a shoplifter. Yesterday I lifted something, and I guess I feel… kind of shitty. Stealing used to feel like… getting gifts on Christmas or something. But once you find out Santa’s not real, it’s kind of hard to pretend that he is. I mean, I guess I’m just… I guess I’m just tired of pretending that things are perfect when they’re not. It feels like everyone expects me to be a certain way. But what if I stopped?
