And

It is common Larry folklore that Louis gave Harry a ring for Valentine’s Day on 13 Feb. There has always been speculation that he got the ring earlier but he was definitely wearing it in Paris.

The ring is from this time in Feb 2012 and remains a ring Harry wears right up to 2021.

But do you remember everything that happened on or around the 23 January 2016? Because I do.

So, at the time there was some confusion about the date that Freddie Reign was born? Was it the 21st. 22nd or even the 23rd. Obviously, it was resolved a day later and the official birthday the 21 January but it was really odd for 48hours.

The Daily Mail was one of the main sources for Louis and Briana.

Now as a long time Larrie I was never a Freddie denier or anything just a curious wonderer. There were so many odd ways they dealt with the whole thing before during and after. But it seems that Louis has a relationship with Freddie and that’s what’s important.

Just for note, Harry was reported to be in LA at this time too celebrating his 22nd birthday with his celebrity pals:

Which I remember st the time feeling quite bold as it was very public. He also attended his friends birthday party Jeff Azoff, they were inseparable st the time. Then Louis has a baby which was also very public. It was interesting.

Jaymi came out

18 November 2012

It was Union J that started the Larry rabbit hole in 2011. I have spoken about what initially sparked my interest but here it is again.

I was working with someone who was friends with Jaymi from Union J’s boyfriend at the time. I had been interested because Jaymi was not out on the X Factor and I had been following them on the show! Jaymi was not presented as gay and it seems he was even straight seeded to begin with.

But in reality Jaymi was very out in Luton.

On 18 November 2012 just a few weeks later he comes out.

Then on 3 Dec 2012 we have one of my favourite interviews of all time:

When you remember that George was meant to be the next Harry Styles and was not out at the time this was pretty charged stuff. At around 2 mins in they talk about 1D and Haylor and what a beard is!!!

I think looking back it’s clear that if a band like Union J were subject to the types of discussion around sexuality then it’s fairly obvious that one direction could have too. They were both run by Syco and came through the X factor. I think Jaymi was already out and publicly very proud and was a playing gay nights in Luton long before the X factor. This is a big difference.

I also think to break the US and other countries around the world sadly from a business perspective even today it’s easier with a young straight boy band!!!

This happened on Halloween in 2012 and is part of Larry History.

The boys were in Italy and Liam, Zayn and Louis went out for Halloween. Apparently Harry and Niall did not.

Louis posts the following on Instagram:

For balance, Zayn clearly still has black face paint on his face too.

Could it be that Harry was close enough to Louis to get white paint in his hair??

And don’t forget Halloween 2013. In Tokyo. This time Harry was allowed out as Miley Cyrus:

And the next day they flew back into Heathrow and were mobbed by fans.

And once again, Paint in the hair, same side as last time. Priceless!

There are far better posts about this and what happened.

I will post the two main videos which were filmed that night. The boys have been drinking and the video quality is very poor.

The infamous ‘kiss’ video. Did Louis go in for a kiss and did Harry spin him around because they were being filmed? I don’t know I’ve personally never been convinced by that.

The other video is drunk 1D and there’s a few bits, ‘Louis missing Eleanor’???? I don’t know it’s hard to tell??? Louis and Harry out of shot and Niall laughing the whole time clearly very drunk.

After this needless to say they were not allowed out like this again. It was there last moment of freedom and because this gained some attention they were restricted. Not just Larry but the whole band.

When I saw the release date - 23 January 2026

My first thought was ‘oh he’s marking his son’s 10th birthday’. But a quick google and Freddie Reign’s birthday is 21 January.

Then I remembered the tweets he sent after his son was born…..

First this one which said Freddie Reign was born yesterday, 22 January???? And

This one 10 minutes later.

I’m not going back 10 years and saying that Freddie Reign isn’t Louis’ son etc… I just thought it was interesting. Louis is very symbolic about his choices and numbers. Albums are released on Fridays so it limits the choices but still interesting. Did he forget about his son’s birthday announcement mistake or did he want his fans remember????

Louis tweeted from Jamaica?????

So bare with me as this is possibly completely mental and wrong because of maths which I am rubbish at.

Also someone else may have done a similar post debunking this theory…. so any input appreciated…….. 

So Louis tweeted this on 1 Feb 2014 at 12:41pm:

Now we know Louis obviously supports Doncaster and they played Middlesbrough on Sat 1 Feb 2014 and kick off was at 3pm (UK time).

Now Harry and Louis were not seen over Harry’s birthday on the 1st Feb 2014.

Harry was spotted sometime this week at an airport in Jamaica:

Jamaica is five hours behind the UK, source for this here.

Now if kick off had been at 3pm then if Louis had been in the UK then the game hadn’t happened so how would he know that Doncaster would have got a point for the draw.

So perhaps if he were say somewhere five hours behind, say Jamaica, then maybe the game would have been finished when he tweeted…… Football matches are 45 mins each way with a 15 minute half time roughly, therefore a game starting at 3pm would be over by 5.41pm.

The only flaw to this is the fact I’m not sure how twitter logs its times, I know it depends on device and stuff………

But even so, there is something fishy because when I go on Louis’ twitter here in the UK, 12.41pm is what it says……

In conclusion:

Louis tweeted from Jamaica because he cannot resist tweeting about his favourite team and even though it was Harry’s birthday, Harry just loves him and let him watch the game……

Okay, I saw this a decade later so I had to check.

I can’t remember how it used to be before but the current X is definitely location-based in terms of timestamps.

I checked the original tweet and saw that it’s posted at 4:41 am, Feb 2 my local time. We’re 8 hours ahead of the UK; therefore 13 hours ahead of Jamaica. This means that the tweet was made at 8:41 pm, Feb 1 UK time as per my current screenshot.

I also had @tonix3 check so I have another reference (this is Germany timezone):

After checking the timezones aligned in World Time Buddy, it doesn’t line up with what OP had seen.

The original screenshot said it was tweeted at 12:41 pm, Feb 1 UK time (as OP mentioned). So the tweet should be 8:41 pm from the same day for me + my screenshot, and 1:00 pm in Germany.

I also found these screenshots made minutes after the tweet under Louis’ post and their timestamps matches their timezone.

Further confusion starts here (jk). About the Twitter timezone: In the early days, we can set the Time zone on our profile, which then determines when the tweet was made. | x

Which means - “Twitter timestamps are no longer determined by the time in your Twitter account’s settings; it’s now your computer or other device’s clock that decides the timestamp you see.”

I can’t remember how it used to work back in 2014 but looking at the 2014 screenshots under Louis’ tweets, it does seem like the timestamps corresponds to their timezones.

SO, bottomline:

Was there a problem with OP’s original screenshot (or maybe Twitter then had a glitch)? Based on the original tweet, it really was tweeted after the game.

Anyway, my brain’s making problems out of nothing lol 😂 I might be reading it all wrong. But either way, I think I’ll consider this as debunked for now.
