After she felt the surge of power coming from the ring, she saw that Hel also felt the power.

“Is someone being stubborn again?” She sighed.

“Though I would not mind gong with you, Zephyr. I must first inform Lord Btio of Apollo’s whereabouts.”  Hel said.

“Hmm… Yes, you should inform Lord Bito about Apollo’s whereabouts. I can accompany you for that Hel. Then after that I think we should first go to King Aeolus.” Zephyr replied.

A young demon was knocking at Lord Hypnos’ room. “It seems none of the old Lords have returned might as well go in.” said the young demon. 

As the young demon entered he notice someone approaching the door. He immediately summoned a familiar and waited for an attack from the shadow. But he noticed it was someone familiar. “Lord Morpheus? What are you doing here?” The young demon pulled up his satchel, “By the way, these are the materials that Lord Bito asked for. Phoenix Tear, Phoenix Feather, and Phoenix Pinion. Can you please pass this to him because Lord Tiamat will kill me if I don’t tend to the stables.” With that said the young demon disappeared.

Feeling the surge of power given by the ring, the queen felt pleased and at peace. She stares at the ring Lord Bito given. It was glowing with the same color as her eyes and she smiles softly. But upon witnessing Seth’s stubbornness, Persephone made a straight face.

“This has been nothing new...” She murmured. “I just hope Seth will cooperate immediately... We have a lot of tasks to accomplish.”

She then looked around and found Artemis with her daughter but Morpheus no where in the room. Freyja somehow seated near by. She decides to talk to them in telepathy.

*So how is today’s show?* she asked jokingly, as if trying to tone down the tension in front of them.

“That is where you are wrong Lord Seth.” Bito has said this telepathically in to Seth’s head. “The reason for everyone’s existence is very valuable to my current temporary reign. My father told me that you could best Lord Thanatos when it comes to gathering souls. I need your specialty with that. The power of Death and darkness are shared with all of us and all pieces must work together.” From the meeting room Bito started to glow a bright purple and he smiled and spoke. “It seems everyone has acknowledge me. Very well I shall make most of this moment.” “Lady Freyja, I need your expertise with Ether, since you have mastered it I insist that we further develop that potential. I need you, Lord Seth, and Lady Hel’s specialties. Ether, Death, and Spirit magics.”Bito said with seriousness.

Bito looked at the plans and it seem that everything is working according to what he is about to do. “If only Babel and Belle were as diligent as I am when it comes to helping the kingdom. All that power wasted on games. Anyways my dear friends. Let us all help each other achieve the impossible.” Then he motioned to Sitri. Sitri nodded and opened a box and spoke physically and mentally into the demon’s head. “We will need everyone to wear this at all time, these rings were made by Lord Beelzebub for all those in his court. As of now, we have no idea what these things do except Bito, but we are giving these to you as a sign of our trust and partnerships.” The rings from the box disappeared and appeared on their respective owner’s fingers.

“Let’s us all work hard together.” Bito and Sitri said in unison.

Watching the ring materialize onto her finger, Freyja felt strong magic from within it. Knowing Lord Beelzebub, he prepared these rings beforehand, only to those he could fully trust. After receiving the ring, Freyja smiled at the young king.

“We will do our best not to disappoint you and your father.”

“I told him to,” Hel replied, smirking.” And if he doesn’t go, then I will personally drag him to the meeting.” She gave the other a small smile, a poisonous glint in her eye.

Frowning as Hel thought over Zephyr’s request. She then gave a small shrug and voiced out her agreement. “Of course, Zephyr. I wouldn’t mi–” She started to say but stopped as she felt a tug on her finger.

Looking at it, Hel saw that it was a ring and looking over at the other, she saw that Zephyr also had one.

“Hmm?” Zephyr hummed when she noticed that Hel was stop on mid sentence then she noticed also that she was looking at her hand, curious on what she was looking at she raised her hand and felt a sudden small weight on her finger and saw a ring. She smiled at when she saw the ring, she knew that Lord Beelzebub have planned this long before.

“Now that has been settled, who do you think that we should go to first?” She asked with a small smile plastered on her face.

She took her seat immediately as she listens.  Persephone then felt something that wrapped her finger. She lift her hand up and seen the ring. It was somehow was familiar to her.

“So it has officially started...” she mumbles under her breath. Turning that slight nervous frown to her usual bright smile. “I remain loyal and will be of service. Is there any errands for me to do, Lord Bito?” She asked her eyes glinted greener.

Myth debunking #1: Persephone is Black / Dark Skinned

1) Are you sure you’re not confusing Rosario Dawson’s portrayal of Persephone in Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief for a valid mythological source? I suppose I could understand, but understanding is far from forgiveness.

See? Even she’s not impressed. 2) I’ve found almost no description of Persephone’s skin tone or ethnicity in the literature. (Largely because it is an almost wholly irrelevant detail.) The closest hints I’ve come up with are a description of her as “lovely-hared” (ἐρατοπλόκαμε) in the Orphic Hymn to Persephone 29.5 - which is a pretty useless detail - and Ovid’s description of her face after she learns she can spend part of the year with her mother: “The goddess’s face was delightful (laeta), like the sun after it emerges from the cover of rainclouds” (Met. 5.570-1). Not terribly enlightening there, either, as “delightful” (laeta) is literally “flourishing, happy, welcome,” and the comparison to the sun is a metaphor for the welcome state of her change in mood, not the tone of her skin, so… No help there. 3) In vase paintings, Persephone’s got the same skin tone as everybody else.

If you’ve got a detail to point me towards, by all means, please do so. Otherwise, I’ll consider this myth well and truly debunked. P.S. I’m not arguing that Persephone’s white/pale. I’m just saying that her skin tone is not portrayed as notably different from anyone else’s in various Classical myths, and there seems to be as much evidence for her skin being dark as there is for it being green. [Edit: Some of you have pointed out evidence I had not addressed! Thanks! junoinfernas points out that Persephone is called “white-armed”(λευκώλενον,) in Hesiod’s Theogony 913. @witch-pixie found a reference to “dark Persephone” in the Orphic hymn to Melinoe, except, unfortunately, that’s not in the original Greek, was likely inserted by the translator, and even then “dark” in English is often in reference to the gloom of the underworld, not skin tone. (For the record, the lines in question read σεμνὴ / Φερσεφόνη λέκτροις ἱεροῖς Ζηνὸς Κρονίοιο.) Still, thanks for looking! ]

I'be taken interest in a few goddesses namely Persephone Hecate morrigan Gaea and Aphrodite. Should I make separate altars for each and how can I honor them properly?

Hello there friend.I would recommend that you have separate altars for that many deities and I would also be sure that you wish to worship all of them before setting up an altar for them.

Persephone

Sometimes it can’t be helped when the time comes when she and her brother once again have to team up after so long. Yet even if it was centuries ago, Artemis is still reluctant on working with her brother again. At least his absence gives her a bit more time to compose herself before she’d ‘accidentally’ punch him straight in the face.

“Don’t worry, daddy. Mommy can take care of herself from Uncle Apollo. If she can’t she still has Auntie Zephyr or Auntie Hel for help.” The young girl smiled at her father.

Mari, daughter of Artemis and Morpheus. Although being recently born just a few months ago, she’s already grown into a fine young lady. Demon time is very different from earth time.

“By the way, where did Uncle Hypnos go?”

After leaving a small note for both Persephone and Buer respectively in their offices, Hel walked back to the council room.

Passing by the summoning mural once more, she was bit disappointed when Apollo’s nude form was no longer there. Instead, she saw Zephyr looking a bit…troubled.

 “If you’re looking for Apollo, I’d say he’s always gone back to his room get changed.” Hel stated, approaching the other goddess.

As Zephyr entered the summoning mural, neither Hel or Apollo are there. She sighed at this but smiled a little and thought for a while on where to go next.

Then she heard a voice, which came from Hel and she said “If you’re looking for Apollo, I’d say he’s always gone back to his room get changed.” 

“Oh there you are Hel, I kind of need your help. Is Apollo going to Lord Bito after he gets changed?” She asked

“Is it okay for you to help me gathering the elemental kings and queens? Since I’m one of them so that’s already one and I need to look for the other 3 queens and 4 kings. Lord Bito needs them for the runes to work.”

“I know, sweetie. I’m just really worried, that’s all. You know me.”

Morpheus has always been a worrisome demon; he tends to over think things. However, he still managed to calm himself and do work properly, with the help of his daughter who was filing one of the drawers.

“As you wish, Lord Bito. I will handle my brother’s jurisdiction while he is away. If my presence is needed, I would be there in an instant, Your Highness.”

Being under his eldest brother’s jurisdiction made well informed about his brother’s job. Hypnos was one of his mentors, as the older one mostly kept an eye on the younger; even when they have their own lives to focus on. Morpheus is immune to his brother’s sleep powder, which was inherited by Mari, except for the powder Hypnos hides.

The sudden knock on the door somewhat surprised the two, which also led them to question who’s behind the knocking.

“Who could that be?”

Upon Lord Beelzebub’s disappearance, Queen Persephone have been battling over piles of paperwork on her desk. With everything that has been happening in the Underworld, her mind gets loaded with questions. She decided to leave her office that time and walk around the castle. A good walk clears her mind often. If not, she’ll try to look for her husband, Hades. But she knows herself that its not a good time these days to bother him. He’s busy as well.

The queen halted as she reach the gardens. Well, a sanctuary, she called it. She smiled small. “Its been a while since I got lost and end up here again. But I think I should walk back...” She mumbles as she turns and walks back to her office.

Upon reading the note Hel left, she teleports immediately to where Lord Bito is. “My Lord,” she curtsied. “you needed me I’ve heard. Forgive me though, I arrived late when you called. I was busy as usual with your father’s papers.”
