here to say i’m not dead

just haven’t had muse for about a year, but i recently changed jobs and since the last one was a huge drain on me both physically and mentally, i’m hoping to feel more like myself again in the next few months. 

also still dealing with chronic pain and fatigue thanks to my EDS, but that is also improving now that i’m out of the shitty job.

SUPER OOC BUT

for anyone who wants to know some reasons i’ve been so absent:

autistic burn out. blame my emotionally challenging and physically demanding job. one of my immediate coworkers has been inexplicably giving me the silent treatment for 6 mos, and i’ve been trying to handle that with grace as someone with CPTSD who grew up under narcissistic parents that used the silent treatment as a form of punishment... the work i perform also involves nearly nonstop repetitive motion and moving of heavy objects. sometimes both at once. that means CHRONIC PAIN & EXHAUSTION.

i very, very likely have Ehler’s-Danlos Syndrome; hypermobile type. peep my tiktok for details about THAT, but the aforementioned chronic pain is also due to subluxation of my joints (a form of dislocation, but only the joint.) hEDS is also SUPER comorbid with ASD and ADHD, both of which apply to me. i also experience symptoms of POTS (a dysautonomic heart condition) regularly, which is an extremely comorbid result of just having a connective tissue disorder. (because what is the body except a big lump of connective tissue? 😅) getting the official dX however, is going to be a struggle i’ll spare you the details on for now.

oh, and i’ve been hyperfixating on all of this & tiktok. i mean... i get a lot of attention on tt so $$dopamine$$ but i also enjoy understanding why my body is such a train wreck now...
