Day 26: Recents event have me very concerned and uncertain about the future of our countries. Today, My thoughts are with the victims and their families of the recent terrorist attack in my province, and with those who are now faced with the recent surge of hate, fear and intolerance that is spreading across our nations and jeapordizing their future . Day 17: more #progress on my #onion and #garlic for my guacamole series. Seeing the #painting come to life is sooo satisfying. I'm really enjoying the process. There are still a few details that i need to finish before it's complete but the paint is drying right now and it's getting late. Day 16: a quick #hand #study , because I need it. The #gesture from each hand is feeling a little stiff, and I kind of rushed through the process without really paying attention to proportion or placement... Oh well, live and learn. What are your study tools to improve on your artwork? I usually just rely on Google images for references. I also like to study what other artists I admire create. Day 14: I tried to do some #gesturedrawings from #baby images, but was failing miserably. So I took it down a notch and decided to #study #gesture #drawing that I admired from another artist. These #sketches are based off of the art of someone who goes by Sjinchoy1234. I searched to find the artist' website but no luck. My only source is Pinterest sadly. If anyone knows who the artist is, please let me know so that I can credit him/her properly. In any case, I feel like I learned something from this study. I should do more of them. Day 10: (I skipped a day...*shhhh* 😉) but it's okay! Because I made up for the lost time and finished my #penguins #drawing ! Day 7: Have you ever started something thinking: Oh, I'm just going to whip this out real quick and then next thing you know it's been over an hour and you're covered in pencil dust and you've got your head buried in the far right corner of a the paw pad you're trying not to mess up? And then you back away and think ''finally!! I'm done!'' So you put it out there and immediately think ''GAAAAAAH I HATE IT!!!!'' No? Just me then? Day 6: I didn't have much time to #draw . But I did it anyway! This is how I cope through looong hours of meetings and class time. Day 4: More #ponies for my pony village! I saw a picture of a #shetlandpony wearing an ugly sweater. It was super cute but why would you put an ugly sweater on a pony. Day 3: Ponies!!

So there’s a lotto pool at work, and we talked about what we would do if we won the jackpot. Naturally, I’d buy a 19th century pioneer styled village and fill it with poniiies!!!

I used some screenshots from my little pony as reference for the expressions and the manes… but it ended up heavily influencing the style. I’m not dissatisfied about that, but it reminded me of the dollar store knockoffs my mom used to buy us thinking we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. 😂

Hi! I’m Bowazo. And this is my doodle blog. I used to draw a lot as a kid, then it was time to be an adult, so I gave up drawing and did whatever adults are supposed to do like go to college and get a job. Drawing makes me happy though, and sometimes I wonder if I shouldnt have stuck to what I love. In any case, now I’m drawing again…or trying to get back into it. Let’s see where this journey takes me!

My goal for this blog is to post a drawing everyday for a year. That’s my resolution for 2017! I thought that it was fitting that my first sketch would be of a beau oiseau :). Seagulls are seriously underated! They’re one of my favorite birds. They have creepy dinosaur eyes and have mastered the death stare for food, so, they’ve earned my admiration :p. They also remind me of the beaches back home. So hearing their obnoxious cawing brings back fond memories. :)
