BACK FROM HIATUS!
Hello hello! I will be back for approximately two weeks before I'm off for a while again but I'm ready to get back at it!
Johnnyâs Hall of Fame
Congratulations to me, on July 23 itâs been 2 years of RP. I want to say thank to everyone here. I really appreciated those two years, I feel my writing has improved and I made a lot of friends in the RPC. Both my canon and my OCs have developed a lot and I had lots of opportunities to write them with other muses.
This is an extensive list of people whom I have interacted with, and they are people that you can follow (in fact, itâd be amazing if you managed to start interactions with them, if thereâs one thing I love is matchmaking my mutuals). Thereâs an announcement at the end. Also, Iâm sorry to mobile users.
I got this very late because a lot of bad things were happening in my life, and reading what you said has filled my heart with a lot of happiness and Iâm very happy to have met someone like you!Â
Iâll be absent most of the day. Tis a busy one.
For the dude
ïœç„ïœ Summer had been hell thus far. It was hot and humid and the monsoon that ravelled the city werenât proven to sooth Yatoâs exhaustion towards the heat. Often times he would look for a popsicle shop or a pool house where he could cool off with Yukine. But, this was different. Yukine nor Hiyori was with him and what was even odder was a... Capyperland themed ramen shop near the centre of the city. Yato for a while stuck his nose up at it. Capyperland never gave the copyrights to other companies to open those sorts of shops. Was this an official thing?Â
But he was parched. Parched for some delicious miso ramen with Capyper themes cutlery and decoration- even if it was a knockoff. He decided to pocket his suspicion, slithering into the shop quickly. Ah, and luckily enough it was cheap. The minute he passed the door, a delectable aroma spiked itself into his nostrils. He was drooling already, striding to the counter where his eyes excitably scanned the menu. «Hey- Iâll have two orders of the miso ramen annnddd-» He was grinning by then, leaned forward when his palms plastered on the marble counter. «An order of eggplant tempura and pickle carrot!» ïœć€ăïœ
For doggo
ïœç„ïœ Yato turned to the woman; hands falling to his side as he gave her partial attention away from his usual gig of spreading the word of his helpings. He was startled if anything; wondering why a âfellow deityâ would want to speak with him... Unless they wanted something from him. He could have sworn heâd seen someone like her before.Â
«Yeah? And who are you?» He hadnât intended for his tone to come off so aggressively. A part of him was just curious, stepped to face her directly. ïœć€ăïœ
missninetailsâ:
When he looked at her like that how could she? Serinaty gave in and decides that running would be impossible. Something in his eyes were almost hypnotic she found no fight left.
Only a small flinch was given at possibly messing up the futon but ultimately the fox laid down. It was warm. She found comfort in it that doesnât last. Yatoâs question had come with images of various deaths to count in order to properly answer. âIâŠstopped counting after awhile but now that I look back..â
Serinaty suddenly felt dirty as a dry laugh escaped. âMore than a hundred fifty or so times, might be more because of the suicides.â No wonder death wasnât as scary at some point, you just expect it to happen and open your arms. âGuess my mind became numb to make dying each time easier.â
âIâm sorry Iâm so depressing usually I smile more.âÂ
ïœç„ïœ Â«No wonder you had ayakashi swarming around you...» Yato murmured, setting himself on his knees beside the girl. He found himself staring down at his hands as she spoke. The thought of dying that many times and remembering it all... Ordinarily, Yato would be furious at someone who decided to take their own life... But she was still here; breathing, but not living well. Besides, sheâd likely been going through so much pain that she felt her only option was to die. «Well, Iâm not letting it happen again. I promised you.» He tightened his fingers against his pants. «I still promise.»

Like this if I owe you a reply, please!
maskedmusesâ:
âYato!â She whined out, scrunching her nose at his suggestion as it seemed mostly like a tease. Although, truthfully, it wasnât a bad idea. If she could scream or yell, maybe it would clear the passage and she could make a sound, like the lid rising off of boiling steam. âIâllâŠtry. Iâll find a place where I can. â If there was such a place should Momone be able to make any sound.
Perking up, Momone nodded happily. âWriting is fun! My letters look niceâŠeven if theyâre wrong.â Her penmanship was nearly immaculate, as if she practiced every day. âTrain? WellâŠâ Her mind shifted to the bow, slanting her head a bit. A Yomi with no arrows, but it felt like it could still be used somehow.
But she could tell he was trying to reassure her. âThank you, My God.â She offered softly, bubbling up with warmth. To be needed, especially by him, Momone felt joy bubbling up inside of her. âI wonât let you down.â She loved the smile he had as well, making her curious on him.
âYato, what sort of things do you like?â Her voice and meaning were innocent enough, but her message was clear. âI want to know how to make you happy.â
ïœç„ïœ
«Yeah, I saw your handwriting. I was like âwoah you havenât had a pen in years-this isnât fairâ but I think youâre just naturally gifted.» Yato was smiling widely, looking at her with almost a sense of disbelief. Being in her presence caused him nothing but joy and heâd only known her for a little over an hour. «Thank you, Mo. I wonât let you down either!» He found himself tracing his fingers across the delicate details of the yomi; small engravings of flowers and wind spanning the length. She really was stunning- surely a spirit a god would be proud to have at their side.
«Hmmm-» He thought for a moment, setting the yomi down on his lap. «I like Capyperland annddd... Food...» He squinted his eyes, thinking once more. He wasnât good at speaking about himself at times. «Ehhh... art» He was blanking. «I like the erm-» He flailed his hand, trying to get the words out. «The flowers that bloom in the spring. Winterâs nice too...» Â
ïœć€ăïœ
missninetailsâ:
Where did his confidence stem from? How was he not frightened at the possibility of failure? Sheâs seen so much of how hard loss can effect a person, it has torn her apart. Humans have broken this fox creating the monster she never wished to become.Â
Closer to the god now that she was captured willingly her eyes stare into his finding them easy to become lost in. Serinaty leans closer bumping her forehead against his shutting away the world.Â
âDonât look at me with those clear eyesâŠI canât run away.â
ïœç„ïœ Â«Then donât run away...» He whispered, his voice trembling slightly. He wasnât scared at becoming the subject of whatever had taken hold of her. What was causing his strife was what would happen to her. He lightly squeezed her hand, guiding her to lie down on the futon a few feet behind him. She needed rest. He felt more startled over how close she had become. It seemed to him the trust she felt dug deeper than he originally assumed. It felt nice for others to trust him. «Serinaty- How many times have you gone through this?» Yato watched his tone very closely, knowing he could come off as rude when it wasnât intended.  ïœć€ăïœ
maengar-systemâ:
⊠A dead silent stare after the age was given. Judgemental and analytic as if boring into the others soul. One could see in the relaxing of her muscles she clearly didnt take him as a threat anymore. A small wind howled around the two before finally her telepathy broke the silence once more. [Kid, shouldnt you be at home with your ma or pa in Celestia or something?] Ouch.
ïœç„ïœ Yato deadpanned but it was slowly exchanged for a slightly horrified expression. «The hell is Celestia...? - Look, I just need to find this shinki, I guess, and then Iâll be outta your hair. I donât need to play 20 questions right now!» Maybe this person was just messing with him. Maybe father paid them to do so. regardless, it was etching at his nerves. ïœć€ăïœ
The young Ghoul could see that the others eyes were fogged over by a sadness. Is this what I looked like before? He thought. Despite having very different situations, perhaps the feelings were similar. But Ayato couldnât hope to understand fully what Yato was going through. He gestured for the God to follow him as he made his way through the streets.
It only took a few minutes before they approached a tidy looking block of flats. Ayato guided Yato through the small lobby and up a couple of floors, taking out a key and letting himself into his new home. He shook off his boots in the entrance and instantly headed for the open kitchen.
âHow do you have your coffee? Pretty sure Hina got sugar and milk somewhere in case our human friends came around.â He spoke so casually, despite the pure hatred he held for humans only a few years ago. âIâm not that great at making coffee, just to warn you.â
ïœç„ïœ Yatoâs eyes lingered around the flat, smiling ever so slightly. He recalled the vehement hatred Ayato had towards humans- the horrible situation he found himself living in. But, this child grew past it- into a man worth being proud of and one with security; one with safety. The god followed pictures of the brown haired girl he must have been referring to. Did they love each other? During the time heâd met Ayato, Yukine was almost in a similar rut to the boy mindset wise. Knowing how that mustâve felt pained him. It was likely a lot worse for Ayato given that his life was on the line anytime he stepped out onto the streets- anytime someone spoke his name. His existence was dangerous. Was he really okay now? Was it that easy to wipe away that primal fear?
«Oh- uhm... Surprise me.» He strode slowly to the kitchen once more, glancing down at his sock as he nearly tripped. «Give me the- Ayato special.» ïœć€ăïœ
johnny-writesâ:
Were all gods this carefree? That was all Rebecca could think. Gods were supposed to be superior beings, managing the elements and involving in questions beyond comprehension.
But Yato seemed soâŠhuman? She didnât even know if this was the correct word, but she felt something different from him. The way he tried to look at the bright side of the life, something that was denied to her for so long by her own mentality, itâŠsomehow inspired her - except the part of faking her death, she didnât want to let her family deal with such things.
âYou have a great imagination, Yato.â She said, taking a seat besides him. She didnât know what to reply, so she just held on his arm, in hopes that he wouldnât do anything bad while drunk. âI needâŠI need you to get home. This will be enough adventure for a lifetime for me.â
ïœç„ïœ Yato couldnât help but smile. Being drunk always gave him some sort of freedom to express whatever he wished. Even when he was a younger God, still dwelling in the Heian period, though his father deemed him too young, he drank with a fellow god Rabou. He hated the taste then- it was probably one of the worst things heâd put in his mouth and there were many times in his childhood where he accidentally ate dirt. «Then...» He turned his head to her, eyes analysing and tracing the features of her face. «May our fates intertwine, Reb» There was something different about this girl than any other human heâd met before. Unlike Hiyori, she wasnât very vocal nor did she strive to be the strongest in the physical sense. No; she was humble but oddly self-conscious and from what Yato could tell, hateful of herself. There was a very specific presence he picked up on the moment he met her. A benevolent kindness that almost seemed holy. ïœć€ăïœ
replying, boys
Iâm off to work but now that Iâm in the groove of doing this again Iâm definitely coming back and finishing the replies. IF I donât make sure to spam my inbox- I MEAN IT
johnny-writesâ:
âAlright, but p-please donât make yourself too conspi-pi-picuous,â she said, while holding his waist to help him balance and guided him outside, against a the wall of a house a bit far from the main multitude. She felt a bit warm with the gesture, and she was glad that nobody could see him because she didnât want awkward questions.
âWe canâŠwe can discuss this tomorrow.â She knew he wasnât in the best of his condition, so chances were that heâd still hear someâŠnonsense for a while.
That dumb smile of his made her blush, though. She had to admit he was quite handsome. âWellâŠuhâŠif I really had freedomâŠI donât knowâŠmaybe living a life with a kind husband and going on adventures in a while, m-maybe like the ones Gilgamesh went, bu-but if I told this second part to my mom, sheâd have a heart attack, hahaâŠâ The laugh sounded more awkward than she expected.
ïœç„ïœ Yato snorted soon after her comments. «I donât think Iâll have any problems being con...con-» He hiccuped, peering his head out of the door frame, eyes glimmering about the crowd. The lights, the energy, the overall celebration and joy these people felt for life warmed his cold dead little heart.
Yato looked back at her, smiling a bit when she brought up her mother. «You could fake your own death.» He couldnât help but chuckle at the idea. Sheâd likely be too scared and Yato was too lazy to help. «But you can still go on adventures. I mean- Iâm sure this place wouldnât be too strict on you doing stuff as long as you proved you can do it- Like, slay a dragon er something!» He nudged her shoulder, then slammed his butt on the ground to sit; a bit too rough for his liking but the beer coated any pain he wouldâve felt. «Hell- I could go with ya!» ïœć€ăïœ
âI could hear you from quite the distance awayâ He sighed as he watched him. This was no way for a God to behave but it wasnât his place to try and guide him either. Yato at times could seem like a danger to himself though. Being his shinki must get pretty tiring at times. âA god is envious of me?â, he couldnât quite hide the look of surprise to cross his features, âDo you not think you have more freedom simply because of how unknown you are? Though I guess these days you are gaining more attentionâ
ïœç„ïœ Â«Nahh!» He flailed his wrists a bit, leaning back. «Yeah- Itâs nice havinâ some freedom every now ân then but yâknow how it feels to not be wanted, huh? HUh?» HIs blue eyes gleamed towards the other, half glazed over.
«I mean, I gotta go above and beyond to get some respect. Youâre Bishaa..monâs shinki. You gotit all.» He was too fidgety to keep his eyes on Kazuma, setting the just about empty can of beer to his side. By then, he was pulling on the loose strings of his sleeve. It needed to be fixed soon. «Plus, Yukine likes ya more!» ïœć€ăïœ
