The very handsome and “boy next door cute”, JAY ELLIS, has risen to fame mainly amongst an african american viewing audience as a result of his leading roles on BET’s, “The Game”, as well as his most popular role as Lawrence Walker on HBO’s runaway hit summer series, “INSECURE”.

What I most love about the 35 year old actor is the fact that he publicly exudes this sort of humble, everyday, quirky vibe that is rather appealing. It could be the result of him living on the west coast for the past 13 years. California seems to present a very laid back, tranquil paced environment. And so far, Jay Ellis doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously. He appears to be 100% approachable. 

I LOVE the authenticity that Jay brings to the role of Lawrence – a young creative type dude who is maneuvering his way through love, heartbreak, financial woes, professional endeavors, casual encounters and other daily life stressors … much like the rest of us.

Jay Ellis is right now the man to watch! Im definitely looking forward to his first, major movie role. To date, he has only been featured in a series of short films & television clips. There’s more to come…
