So I joined Yelp! If you all don’t know what it is just go to www.yelp.com
I find it really useful since I’ve been in Washington for 2-3 years now and only 1 year in the town I live in now, I still feel like I’m “new to the area”.
So yelp gives you ideas on places to go based on first hand customer opinion of the establishments in your area. People actually take the time to write really good reviews and post pictures and stuff.
Anyway, I tried a new pho place tonight hence the pic. It was pretty good and really filling for $7. It was made from beef broth though so I think that is why it tasted different. Not bad…just different from the normal veggie broth I usually get. Anyway I really think I could get into this traveling and reviewing thing. I just have to make sure I save more $$$ or my ass is gonna be more broke than it already is. Haha
Just say yes to everything new. Snails at a street food bar place thing. #snails #food #foodie #foodporn #foodgasm #tryingnewthings (Taken with Instagram at Ốc Oanh)

in a blender, (i promise no more blenders for a while after this!) blend until smooth: 1 large banana, 3 tbsp sweetened peanut butter, a 13.5 oz. can of coconut milk, and 6-10 ice cubes.
to make it extra cold, chill all of the ingredients for a couple of hours or overnight. i wouldn’t suggest adding extra sugar to this - there’s already plenty in the banana & PB. for a lower calorie drink substitute half the coconut milk for rice milk.
serve very cold to 4 people. (a small serving goes a long way!)
