One of the reasons that I haven’t been on very often lately is that a study abroad trip has, essentially, taken over my life. Finals are coming up, but I’m working my ass off trying to make this trip work. I applied too late for scholarships because of confusion with programs, and… well.
I’ve wanted to go to France since I was 8 years old, and while my method of doing it has changed, the fact that I’m now minoring in French has only intensified that desire. If I were able to go on this trip, I would get to take upper-level French classes and an upper-level biology class, over the course of 5 weeks. At the moment, I’m barely $300 short of the actual program costs (which I can definitely make in a month or so), but… air fare is another $1000+, and I need to book a flight as quickly as possible in order to not have to pay twice as much.
I know I don’t have many followers, and I know this isn’t anywhere near as urgent as other people’s fundraisers, but… I’ve been working towards this for years, now, and I could really use some help. Even just a few dollars would be incredibly appreciated, and if I still end up not being able to go on this trip, everything that I get will go directly into paying for the rest of my schooling, instead.
