currently reading the cutie pie novel and holy shit when kuea tells diaw he slept with hia lian and the first thing diaw asks is if he forced him....that just fucking speaks volumes about the type of relationship they have and i hate it sm, this is not the kind of relationship that should be romanticized at all. let's not even talk about diaw and hia yi's relationship either bc there's nothing redeeming about them. period. it's not cute, it's not sexy, it's not romantic and it certainly isn't love. it's toxic and abusive plain and simple.

listen, i'm not saying that what chan is getting dragged for wasn't bad or wrong. it is. but that was years ago. people change all the time and they've grown and learned from their mistakes. the fact that they apologize and own up to their mistakes and make sure to do better as people and as artist who have such a wide fanbase is admirable frankly. the fact that their agencies don't have to release statements on their behalf and they do it themselves because they know they fucked up and they've grown and matured from their immature selves from year passed. i'm not going to say i forgive chan for what he's done because its not my place and i'm not the people hurt and offended by it. all i'm saying is stop dragging them for mistakes they've made in the past when it's clear they've owned up to it and have learned and grown from it. and please don't try and belittle those who feel hurt or offended or don't forgive for his actions. it's their right to forgive them or not. the only thing we can do is continue to support and educate ourselves as stay and learn and grow from these moments too. don't cause fanwars. don't try and belittle others over this or argue who's right or wrong. if it's not your place don't say or do anything.

listen. i am a very casual shawol, but i have loved and listened to them since 2009 and it makes me incredibly happy and proud to see them STILL releasing music. they're keeping up with current trends and music styles, but still keeping on brand and with how shinee's music has been since they debuted and staying true to themselves and as a group and i love seeing it.
