Winter in my bones

I got my AA in high school. I went to the best university in my state, joined a research team, studied abroad, and took first place in my final semester project presentation at a college within a university that wasn’t even related to my field.

I graduated with my bachelors in science in psychology at 21.

But I always loved art. It was the only thing that brought me peace.

Today I work full time at a local art studio, training to become the manager and take over when the owner leaves. I started my own side business in art as well.

If you want something, you can have it. I promise. You just need to be willing to risk it all. You have to be okay with disapproval, with flying alone, with mistakes and doubt and fear. But you can have it all.
