@bracelets-for-your-recovery
Survivors have scars. Victims have graves.
Something that I need carved in my bones. (via beagmactire)
For those of you who keep have problems with how tight you should make your bracelets or how long they last, the pic above is an anklet I made in July of 2011. It JUST came off my left ankle after being on it for 3 years. To make sure it stays on, I send all the bracelets with LOTS of tie string so you can make sure they're long or short enough for you guys as well as making sure they stick. I keep getting messages on how people keep losing theirs (not saying it's bad), but I just wanted to show you guys that making sure they're tight enough is what's going to make sure they last.
Whatever it takes. There is nothing wrong with you. Something happened to you and however you chose to survive, whatever it takes, it is OK.
this hedgehog is cheering for u bc u can do anythingÂ
I survived because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me.

friendly reminder that there is no such thing as a single “right” recovery, every eating disorder is different and so is every recovery. If you are trying, if you are aiming to be happy with everything that you are and are fighting for yourself, than that is your recovery. It is not to be judged. Or rushed. Or compared. You are unique and beautiful, and so is your journey to healing.Â
havent relapsed in a year? im so proud of you
havent relapsed in a week? im so proud of you
havent relapsed in a day? im so proud of you
havent relapsed in a minute? im so proud of you
no matter how long the time since your last relapse, you’re still making progress, you’re still fighting and you’re still staying strong and isnt that what matters the most? dont think of it as a competition, we all move at different paces, focus on your own goals and be proud of yourself!
