bradly knew the air around her was warm enough to probably fry an egg, but her arms were covered in goosebumps rubbing them with her free hand for a minute she just smirked at owen. the girl hadn’t really been too aware of what he’d been doing over the past few months or years, the time frame of them being apart wasn’t really clear in her mind. “i’ll take your word for it, but at least it was enjoyable.” she followed his unclothed body to the couch and planted her self criss cross on its cushions. “no you probably could just go to the class shirtless and all the ladies in your building would call their friends and eventually you’d be completely booked with suburban moms.” her laughed filled the space between them after she spoke. “yeah but when you’re 12 sleeping with talking buzz in your bed you might have a little bit of an issue, not saying whatsoever that you’re weird. it’s a great movie though but let’s be honest the lion king is better.” her eyebrow raised. “buzzed huh? smooth. right hit me with the best one’s you’ve got.”

owen was a little tipsy by the time there was a knock on his door. a reunion with bradly had been a long time coming, and he couldn’t contain his excitement. this was the girl he had grown up beside. she had been there for him when he had no one to turn to. she had made him laugh through it all. and now.. well, now, since his inhibitions were lowered just enough to admit it to himself – she was hot. the ac in his apartment was busted – something always was, but owen didn’t mind. there was a mattress shoved in the corner, drinks in the fridge, and takeout that could be delivered in 10 minutes. this apartment would do just fine. he grabbed two drinks - his own and a fresh one for bradly. shirtless - from the heat, of course, no other motives - he threw open the door, a huge smile on his face. “ you’ve gotta catch up, “ he grinned, pulling her into a hug before he closed the door behind her. “ my creative juices are flowing, “ he joked. “ i’m thinking rex would be a bomb name for a killer pomski. “

bradly was as excited as she could imagine a little girl could be when they see disney world for the first time to get back with owen. a little bit of text banter wasn’t enough for the two of them considering they didn’t spend years on end apart from each other, but sure growing up changes that and being all grown up maybe certain feelings grew up with her. bradly walked down a long corridor to finally find owen’s bronzed apartment number. knocking she tapped her foot at the door with anticipation. “hey-oh why are you shirtless?” she questioned quickly, while embracing him in a hug. “did i catch too soon after some dick appointment or something?” the girl giggled and grabbed the drink out of his much larger hands, taking a swig quickly before walking her way inside more. “damn, why the fuck is it so hot in here? do you run a hot yoga class or something to make easy bank?” bradly laughed at herself again out of habit. “sorry.” she said smirking. “rex, huh? what’s up with you and toy story, like i feel like you have some weird attraction to buzz.”
