Two Shows in November

It's been a busy last few months for me. I have two exhibitions going on in November. One is a solo show at the Firehouse Gallery in Grants Pass OR, the other is a group show in Paso Robles CA at Studios on the Park. I've been working on both and I'm happy to say that all the work has shipped and I'm very happy with how it's turned out.

Below I've posted a few iphone shots of the work I had up at Surplus Space this past August. I'm very happy to be able to show at this space here in Portland. They exhibit great artists and aren't afraid to show more conceptual work. If you ever get an opportunity definitely try and go to one of the openings there.

I dropped off some work at FO(u)RT the other day. FO(u)RT is curating the inside of Surplus Space, an artist run project and exhibition space, and some of my new work will be up. I'm really excited about showing in the space and with the other artists that are going to be involved.

The opening for the exhibition will be this Saturday, the 30th of August at Surplus Space at 3726 NE 7th Ave in Portland OR

My painting Pollination has been accepted into the Crocker Art Museums 36th annual Art Auction. This painting is one of my favorites and I'm so happy it's going to find a good home. The Auction is going to be held on Saturday, June 7th in Sacramento, CA and the Crocker Art Museum. If you're in Sacramento, try and go, I'm sure it will be a fun night with great art!

Here is a shot on my two new digital pieces framed and hanging in the 72U BornModern show. It was a really fun show and opening, I'm so glad I was able to be apart of it. There were so many talented artists there and I'm honored that I got show with them all.

I was sent these wonderful photos of my painting Tumble framed and hanging in the amazing house of and designed by Holly Freres of JHL Design in Portland, Oregon. I'm so happy about this placement, it's the perfect home for this painting.
