"CRUSH"

Sa kahit anong sulok ng mundo, you will always hear the word âcrushâ. What is crush? My dad said that âcrush⊠is paghanga⊠sometimes nawawala⊠sometimes naman lumalala.â Iâm sure na everyone of us has a âcrushâ or special someone kung tawagin ng iba. Like me, I also do have my crush.
Na met ko siya one day because of my bestfriend. Cute naman siya⊠specially kapag nakasmile siya and yung laugh niya is contagious. Friendly rin siya. Nung una, we are just like strangers kasi syempre⊠we donât know each other pa naman. I forgot to mention the part na magaling rin siyang sumayaw because naging member siya ng doxology team at school. Nung una, we are still not taking to each other but I know na kilala niya na ako. Hindi kami masyadong nag-uusap.
Then, one day in the canteen, when I am the doing a science work in my notebook because our room is occupied by the other teachers and parents due to a meeting. Nag-approach siya sakin kasi it seems na they have a free period. Kasama niya ang iba niyang classmates, then umupo siya beside me and say âbaka magkapalit na kayo ng mukha ng notebook moâ because my head is really near to the notebook while I am writing. At first, hindi ko alam na siya pala yung nakaupo beside ko because I am busy answering. Nalaman ko lang ng humarap na ako sakaniya. And that is such a great day for me. The thought of that still makes me smile.
Maraming activities ang dumaan, lot of days have passed. Napanood niya pa nga ako sumayaw sa festival contest namin. And now, this day, is the other time na nag-approached siya and talk to me again. While Iâm in the room of Ms. Calambas this afternoon because Iâm fixing up my Certificate of Candidacy because I am going to run as a member of the Student Council Organization, pumasok rin siya sa room na yun. Then, he asked me kung â ano ang lalabanan ko?â and then I answered shyly. I think itâs awkward for me⊠but I think itâs also cute. Awkward⊠but cute. Napangiti rin ako nung tinanong niya ako and I donât know why. Grabe talaga ang effect ng love, kidding. And now⊠the thought of it still makes me smile. Ganyan talaga ang effect ng pagkakaroon ng crush. I wish⊠sana maging mas close pa kami and I hope that we became bestfriends kahit papano. Whatever happens, hinding hindi ko soiya makakalimutan, specially yung ngiti and tawa niya. What about you? Share your âcrushâ story too.
