Short story below!

Bramble stretched up tall and reclined into the back rest of the couch behind him. He felt a flutter within, more than just the typical peristaltic rumblings of food being broken down. He glanced down and rested a hand atop his belly.

"How we all doin' in there?"

The giant asked, and with a quick scrying spell, peaked into his own guts.

Bramble was greeted within the vision by the steady thumping of his own heart and a deep, sonorous gurgle as his stomach slowly churned the mountain of food slop within. The great, wrinkled walls of the stomach glowed gently, like a bioluminescent mushroom and cast light over its contents. What had once been a cut of meat and vegetables was the platform upon within four individuals explored. The first, a familiar friend, with a comfortable plaid shirt, curious brown eyes and brown hair streaked green on her bangs gave a broad snile and a thumbs up.

"We're good! Magic's still active and what not."

Drag announced.

The next figure, a semi-robotic, fluffy fellow, panted with excitement, his bushy purple tail swishing behind him in delight. Tachyon found a stomach wall and began rubbing at the glowing green flesh.

A third sat behind- blonde, serene, with ears that came to an elfin point. Kat enjoyed the sounds of a body working, the deep gurgles, the great whoosh of lungs, the steadiness of a giant's heartbeat.

The fourth and final figure appeared to be maximizing his time being safely tucked within an actively digesting stomach. The raccoon anthro clambered up onto a great pile of food mush and surveyed his surroundings. Keith grinned ear to ear and hung on as a rumble reverberated through the entire organ.

Bramble dismissed the vision and gave his stomach a gentle pat.

"Good, good. Just let me know when you guys are ready to come out, alright?"

He said, closing his eyes and leaning his head back.

"The spell should hold for at least a good day more, so I'm gonna take a quick nap."

As he drifted off, Bramble considered how best to clean them all up when they were let out- magic? A bath? An improvised shower? They turned over the logistics in thier head, imagining teacup bath tubs (a classic) a thimble shower head, and four tiny little friends wrapped up in little towel burritos.
