judging you.
the car ride || brandon & callie
You’re amazing.Â
She is, she really is.
I do my best. You're not so bad yourself.
She seems lonely though.
the car ride || brandon & callie
Dunno. Just thought I’d check.
She's your family, Callie. Of course it's okay.
Besides, she seems like a nice kid.Â
I am, in fact, on Twitter and askfm.
Check me out.

So, are you sure you’re cool with having Sophia over for dinner? And picking her up…and such?
Yeah, sure, why wouldn't I be?
Midterms are over.
I got that.Â
Good to hear.
Oh. Well then. I guess I'm kind of an idiot.
You look really pretty today. And every other day, but I'm talking about today specifically. I like your hair like that.
Midterms are over.
Actually, last time I checked — you’re still a taken man. Midterms withstanding.Â
I meant free from the hell that is midterms.Â
Trust me, I'm quite happy with my current relationship status.
Midterms are over.
Which means I am officially a free man.
The Rescue || Stef, Callie, & Brandon
Stef was in an adjoining observation room when she saw her son rush by and into Callie’s room.  He was a man on a mission, and no one was stopping him.  Callie had just gotten back from her CT Scan, so Stef had gone into another room to speak with Doctor Stevenson about her results.
"Everything appears to be fine, Ms. Adams Foster," he was saying, though Stef was only half paying attention, watching her son through the observation window interact with the girl in the bed. Â "Though to be safe, we want to keep her the rest of the night for observation. Â If all seems well in the morning, we can release her."
She nodded to the doctor, acknowledging she understood, looking away from the observation window while shaking the offered hand.
"Thank you so much, doctor."
"You’re welcome.  I’ll send a nurse in a few hours to check on her." With that, Doctor Stevenson left the observation room, leaving Stef with her own thoughts, once again, watching the two in the room.
Her heart sank. Â She was hoping she could have a weekend away where Lena told her she was crazy when she brought up the fact that she thought the two of them were dating. Â She was hoping she was seeing things, or that she was just over emotional because of Callie being in the clutches of a madman.
No.  She hadn’t been seeing things.  The way they were looking at each other; the way they were talking; the kiss he gave her.  They were the touches and looks of a love, and in that quiet, dark room, she allowed herself a few minutes of anger and hurt.
Though, she thought it would’ve taken longer to feel the resolution.  In reality, it was only a few minutes.  Now, this weekend she wanted to take was going to be, not for her being told she’s crazy, but for telling Lena what was happening between the two of them, and what they were going to do about it.
Taking a few deep breaths, she left the observation room and, putting on a smile, ventured into Callie’s room.  She looked around, knowing she wasn’t going to find her wife, but also thought that was rather odd.
"Brandon," she started as she looked around the room, "where’s Mama?"
She didn't seem to be badly injured. She was awake, she was talking, there were no obvious injuries, and doctors weren't surrounding her bed trying to do anything. She was okay. Those were the words Brandon kept repeating in his head. She was okay. She was okay. Callie was okay.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do with you." Brandon murmured, unable to help himself from pressing more light kisses to her skin. "You scared the hell out of me. Maybe we can get one of those tracking devices put in your ear like they do for dogs or something." he ran his free hand not currently linked with hers against her cheek, never more grateful to see her gorgeous eyes staring back at him. "Is there anything you need me to do?"
His head turned at the sound of his name, and Brandon held back a sigh. He could see the disapproval on his mother's face plain as day. It was one thing to freak out when Callie was missing, that could be interpreted several ways, but there was no mistaking the behavior he was displaying now. Siblings didn't hold hands like this, they didn't look at each other like this, and they sure as hell didn't kiss each other like this. But Brandon was far too relieved to see his girl in once piece to care.
"Hey," Brandon released his grip on Callie just long enough to approach his mom and give her a hug. Even if things were tense right now, he was happy to see her without any visible damage. "Uh, she's not here. I left before you texted." he finally answered, moving back to Callie's bedside and finding her hand once again. "I think I was starting to drive everybody nuts, so I just figured you'd wind up here eventually and got a head start."
he finally got some time off work. we caught a baseball game and then a movie, and ended the day with steaks on the grill and root beer floats.
not a bad Saturday in my book.
The Rescue || Stef & Callie
"I-I’m fine.." she said, rather lamely, but the blonde woman had already taken her finger off the Nurse button. Callie squeezed Stef’s hand, letting her know that she was okay.  Callie didn’t want to worry her anymore than she already had.Â
Callie’s eyes met the doctor’s, after Stef and he had talked, and nods slightly before raising her hand to touch the tender spot to the side of her head. She bites her lips to suppress the whimper that almost escaped. It wasn’t that bad, after all. She’d had much worse injuries..right? Callie sighed.
"It’s fine though, right? It’s not, like, anything too bad?” she said, keeping her eyes focused on the doctor’s instead of Stef’s worried ones.
Stef squeezed the girl’s hand back, trying to offer her some comfort, but knowing that it was going to take more than just a hand-hold.  When the child in the bed gestured to where she was hurt, Stef reached up with her free hand and ran it through the teen’s hair, offering her any comfort she could.
She watched as the doctor interacted with her foster daughter, listening carefully to what he was telling her.
"We certainly want to be sure of that, don’t we?" he said comfortingly to the frightened teen in the bed.  He looked up to Stef and locked eyes with the blonde detective.  "It’s most likely she’s sustained a concussion, but if it’s all right with you, I’d like to get a CT scan, just to be sure."  He pulled open her chart and jotted down some notes before smiling and leaving the room.
Stef smiled down at Callie’s worried expression.
"It’s just a precaution, Callie," she reassured softly.  "You’ll be all right."  She smiled as she brushed her bangs out of the girl’s eyes.  "Brandon’s on his way."
It had been several hours since Stef had gone looking for Callie, and Brandon was sure he'd worn tracks in the floor with his endless pacing. He ignored the constant pleas to calm down. That was like asking a fish to hike through the Grand Canyon- impossible. It was after a few hours that Brandon let out a sigh and made his way to the car. No matter what sort of shape Callie was in, his mom would have her checked out at the hospital before anything else, so he might as well head there now if for no other reason than for something to do. He was almost halfway there when his phone beeped with a text message. Pulling over into the closest parking lot, Brandon read his mother's message:
Meet us at Scripps Hospital.
He tossed his phone aside without another thought and hightailed it back onto the road. The rest of the drive didn't take too long- he didn't plan on mentioning to his mother the few broken traffic laws since he hadn't been pulled over, and after haphazardly parking, Brandon ran into the building.Â
"Callie Jacob." he panted, coming to a halt at the first desk he saw. "She's- um, actually, I don't know where she is. That's why I'm asking you. She's sixteen years old, about this tall, brown hair-" he babbled, offering her birthday, address, and shoe size before the woman finally cut in and told him where to go.Â
A few wrong turns a several long hallways later, he burst into the room where his eyes immediately landed on Callie. Much to his relief, she was awake. That was a good sign.
"Callie!" he rushed over to the side of the hospital bed, gently taking one of her hands in his before leaning in to kiss her. "Oh my god, I was so worried. Are you okay?" Brandon pressed another kiss to her forehead. "I love you so much."
Who is your best friend?
That's an easy one.
Ella or Mariana?
Both are the best sisters a guy could ask for, and I love them equally.
Stef or Lena?
I’ve answered this question before and my answer is the same:
I’m not an idiot.
What do you think of Bentley? Do you think Ella is a good mom?
Bentley is my little buddy. He's one of the coolest, cutest kids I've ever known. And Ella is the best mother.
I'm feeling bold tonight.
boo || brallie (halloween party)
Course you can’t. Not sure quite yet. Even if I did, though, I obviously wouldn’t tell you. It’s a surprise. Why, did you have a couples costume planned out or something?
Nah, that's actually why I was asking. I wasn't sure if that was something you'd be in to or not.Â
Damn. Fine. But don't expect too much on my end. I've got a few ideas but most of them are extremely low-key. I look dorky in costumes.
