The magic of reverb
This is a cool video for anybody who is fascinated by music production. Put together by Touché Videoproduktion Creative and performed by Joachim Müllner is a short video/song that perfectly displays how natural environments create and affect reverb
It is an extremely well done stop motion video with 0 reverb added to the mix and uses nothing but the natural body to perform the song. Great experiment to demonstrate how vastly different a song can sound with a different tonality of reverb added to it.
Give it a listen. It’s a catchy song and hell you might even learn something.
Artist Spotlight: Joni  Niemela
http://www.joniniemela.com/
Finnish photographer with impressive macro photograph galleries. Carnivorous plants, popping colors, and near microscopic images that seem out of this world. Take a peek
As the summer nears fall and the life cycles of plants begin to end I thought I’d share one of my favorite macro photographers Joni Niemela. Joni’s works combine highly detailed imagery with fantastic color contrasts that depict truly otherwordly visuals that are truly on earth and within reach.
Two galleries I’ve particularly liked and would like to share with you are the Drosera and Otherwordly Blues. These galleries are macro images of carnivorous plants with such beautifully contrasting colors.
These pictures in particular combine so many aspects of photography worth appreciating; from picking a unique subject (not to say it hasn’t been shot before, but interesting none the less), using soft diffuse lighting to create a different feel to the setting such as in otherwordly blues gallery, and encompassing such a plethora of vibrant colors that nearly make you forget these plants kill any insect that touches them.
I’d encourage you take take a look at his portfolio and see some otherwise overlooked aspects of the world, that we often walk by every day.

Artist Of The Month - Victoria Siemer
Her Page:Â http://witchoria.com/
June being the beginning of Summer up here in Canada I’m on a huge nature fling right now. I love landscape photography on a completely unhealthy level to begin with but what I especially love about this artist is the unique way that she brings it to the table and presents these pieces of art.
Shown here today is some neat photography from Victoria Siemer, an artist working out Brooklyn NY. She captures a large amount of landscape and human photography and captures some art that I’d loosely call macro photography.
What’s unique about Victoria’s work is that she works photo-manipulation and almost fractal imagery into these pieces of art. It can be as simple as an abstract visual representation of the landscape (Image 3) or something as depicted here (Image 1) which is combining two of her most commonly photographed elements into a single piece.

Splitfist - Straight Outta Halton
Some angsty pop punk straight of Oakville Ontario! Seaway fans anyone?Â
Straight outta oakville ontario comes Splitfist and their soon to drop debut album “Straight Outta Halton”. They’re an instrumentally banging and vocally catchy band this band holds true to the roots of pop punk yet manages to sound unique in a genre that’s sounding all too similar.

My favorite snap from last nights liquored stroll through Tiny Township. Such a different atmosphere during a foggy night compared to a bustling tourist filled day.

Shoos Off
Shoos Off is a 5 piece band hailing from Los Angeles California. They boast an impressive style that comes off as jazzy with hints of pop as well as r&b. A purely enjoyable smooth album to listen too from start to Finish. Throw this bad boy on for your morning coffee and have a good listen.
North By North-East Toronto, Ontario 2k15:
Went to toronto and did all the touristy garbage we’re expected to do. Saw the Cn Tower, ate street meat, and quoted drake lyrics to Torontonians. All before finally attending one of the cities many yearly events which held some astonishing musicians and Art pieces all over the East End.
