How to: get a “tumblr” room *not my photo*

1. Lights are a really big thing! Almost any color is good. In my room I have blue lights, and they’re very calming. I didn’t buy them I got them from the Christmas box because my parents got new tree lights.

2. What’re your interests? Art, fashion, animals, music , etc.? I’m really into fashion, so around my room I have pages I took out of my teen vogue magazines and taped them around my room. I also showed off my closet by taking of my doors (make sure you have permission!) and organized my clothes by color.

3. Along with the theme mentioned in step 2, choose your color scheme. My colors are pink, white, and black. You can choose whether you want the bed / furniture theme matches the wall theme.

4. Collect things as you go along living your daily life. For example, pillows, wall things, or even just little doo-dads.
