Is there a list of victims of the disappearances and their connections? Only know about Lydia and her brother, and was wondering if we could incorporate further disappearances

So we do know that Lydia and the Ram’s best friend went missing. I don’t believe any other missing people are mentioned but we leave it up to you guys to use that to your advantage. If you want your character to have a connection to someone who has disappeared, you can use that. There may be events in the future where we mention more of the people who have disappeared. Right now, it is an opportunity for all of us to use our imaginations. Once things get going, we’ll see how much more detail we get into.

If we use an affinity, can we add aspects to it? Put our own spin on it, create our own limitations and perks, as well as consequences? Or are there set guidelines? If there are, can you please provide a link

You can make it your own, of course! That’s exactly why we leave the affinity section open for you to specify strengths and weaknesses. We want you to be creative with it and really make it relate to the character.

What are the school sports in Brattington? Like Harry Potter has Quidditch and The Magicians has Welters. I am interested in seeing the houses in competition and what magical tournaments could be hosted - also what magical jocks and champions could come of it

That is a very good question! I don’t think there’s any information on the site here about it so I will have to ask Mickey when she gets home in a few hours. I’m excited to talk to her about it. We will make a post when we put that information up.

Are there alternate fcs for Capricornus and Lepus that you all could see working?

For Capricornus I suppose I could see Logan Lerman, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, or Dylan O’Brien. For Lepus I’m a little less lenient on the FC but I guess I could see Max Irons or Max Theriot.

Hello, everyone.

After talking with Kat, we have decided to give you all some more creative opportunity as we wait to begin with Brattington. We have created an OC app and titles list for you all to choose from if you are interested. We still have many skeletons we are dying to see on the dash, but if you are struggling to get settled with a role or are looking for someone to send in a second app for, this is your chance to add to the story at Brattington. These OCs can be students, teachers, staff, or just people working in shops/restaurants of their own on campus. 

We do ask with this new addition, however, that you look over our premade skeletons before deciding to send in an app for an OC so we can avoid any characters with extreme similarities. We’d like to remind you that we do allow changes to our skeletons such as faceclaim and name changes if the ones we have provided do not suit your vision of your character, so long as they are approved by us beforehand. 

We hope this might bring in some more activity and interest to our group so we can expand to people who might already have a character they’ve played in other groups that they’d like to bring to our world, and hopefully this will help bring us to our goal of 10 unique applications so we can set an acceptance date. Feel free to message us if you guys have any questions and I look forward to seeing your apps!

Heya friends!

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately, work has been kicking my ass and I’ve been trying to take the steps needed to enroll into cosmetology school in the fall so I’ve been quite busy. But I’m back now and so excited to see we have a new application and it is absolutely lovely! We now only need four more apps to achieve our goal to set an acceptance date and I’d really like to get there soon so we can get this started! Thank you so much to our current applicants who have been waiting so long and have been so patient as we approach our goal, I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Now then, if you are just now joining us, might I suggest checking out our open skeletons? I’d love to see applications for characters such as Scutum, Draco, Aquarius, or Chamaeleon if any of those pique your interest. I’d also love to see some more activity in our talk tag: #bswtalk if you guys have anything muse-related you’d like us to see!
