some fun modern au snk middle school headcanons for you:
- everybody has braces except for mikasa, the envy of all of her metal mouthed peers
- along with braces both armin & annie have headgear. no one makes fun of them for it tho because if you make fun of annie, u ded. and if you make fun of armin for it you’re indirectly making fun of annie for it, so, u ded
- annie buys all of her clothes from hot topic and has like 100 of the rubber bracelets on each arm. also wears raccoon eyeliner
- mikasa goes through at last 20 phases in her 3 years of middle school (emo, scene, full goth, prep, sporty, teachers pet, etc etc)
- everyone is covered in acne not one is spared
- jean has 3000 friends on his myspace page which is covered in marylin monroe quotes and those like blingee glitter things you know the ones
- jean’s glasses are also like 2 cm thick his eyesight is so bad poor guy
- sasha is the star of the schools softball team because she’s never afraid to bite anyone who gets in her way
- also she always sneaks into all three lunch periods no one’s really sure how
- connie has long long hair but he never washes it when he needs to so it’s pretty gross looking…he shaves it all off halfway thru 7th grade and he immediately smells 70% better
- eren’s hair is always greasy even though he showers everyday after soccer practice. he eventually realizes it’s because he uses like a palmful of mikasa’s conditioner every single day and mikasa puts him in a submission hold because THAT’S WHERE ITS ALL BEEN GOING DAMN IT
- historia has one of the brand new razr phones in pink and everyone is so jealous she takes it out every lunch to pretend to check texts but really it’s just to show off
- ymir goes around during lunch sticking her finger deep into people’s pizzas and going ‘u gonna eat that’
- everyone is just suddenly discovering the joys of deodorant
- armin’s the first one of his friends to go thru a growth spurt and he’s so sure he’s gonna end up Tall but he never gets any taller than that one growth spurt in middle school rip
- eren’s voice cracks the most out of anyone’s and it’s become a running gag in their class poor guy
