Don’t forget a thing! Breakaway Daily Interview with Lukyanov Eugene, Notibuyer app developer
Organizing your notes and daily tasks has never been easier with Notibuyer notepad app.
Notibuyer list manager is a free and simple to use voice memo notepad and to-do list application for personal and shared notes on your mobile device that will prove to be your irreplaceable assistant. In a hectic world overwhelmed by information, planing your day and arranging your tasks is pretty challenging. Notibuyer is more than just a notes application, it is your personal assistant, your ideas list manager, shopping list manager, organizer, and convenient notebook. Breakaway Daily spoke with Notibuyer’s developer to get more insight into this smooth note taking experience that can help to make your life more stress free, and your time planning more efficient.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: How does this app differ from other note apps out there?
LUKYANOV: It differs from hundreds of note taking apps by a few features and the user interface. I, being the futurist and first Ukrainian Cyborg with an xNT tag in my left hand, starve for more efficiency, and human perfection in this digital and rapidly changing era. With this in mind I added "shake to start" and "start recording on launch" feature where the app will launch with a shake, great for driving. It also has the ability to let you speak your thoughts and put down tasks right away on the app's launch. User interface was simplified and made extremely user friendly so that even children could use it.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: How did you come up with this app idea?
LUKYANOV: I have, as many other people, a big problem with remembering different ideas, tasks and shopping lists. I can't use paper notes as they are inefficient and kills nature; why use paper if we can use digital devices? I could not find suitable apps for my specific needs that was easy and user friendly, so I decided to build my own.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: Does it cost a lot to develop an app? Does the profit makeup for the cost?
LUKYANOV: To build an app costs you money, but as the creator it's like giving birth to a beautiful creature. It's very time and energy consuming, but worth it in the end. I am not making any profit yet and am not really thinking about it at this stage. I just want to give people a great product that will talk for itself. I really care about the efficiency more about profit now.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: How long did this app take to develop?
LUKYANOV: It took me about half a year to develop it, although the process of perfecting the app never stops. Now I am thinking about using machine learning in its core.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: What features does the app have?
LUKYANOV: It now has a built in voice memo feature transcribing your speech into text, picture memo, task and notes. Notibuyer can also be used to manage and share your lists with your circle of friends, family, and coworkers. You can easily create, organize and share your notes, shopping and to-do list with a voice memo, text or picture on the go. Be it wedding arrangements, home and gardening tools and appliances shopping, or birthday party preparations. Every voice memo is transcribed into text and is also saved as an audio file for playback. Alternatively, you can add your tasks/notes or items as a text memo or an image only, or combine them the way you like (audio-text, audio-text-image, text-image, audio-image). Notibuyer also allows you to “shake and start” (when driving for example) that will record your voice memo hands free right away! Coming in the next update, we will be adding a useful reminder feature that will remind you about important tasks to be done in time.
If you are tired of remembering multiple tasks, important ideas and writing down notes on a paper; then give this app a try. Notibuyer is available for your Android device from the Google Play Store.
Sharpen your mind with Wordbrain: 4 Pics 1 Word app
If you like to play brain games such as word games and picture puzzles, this brainy app is for you! The app displays four pictures in a photo puzzle and you have to guess the word that describe the similarities of all the pics. This is a tricky word puzzle where you have to use your brain, and sometimes think outside the box to be able to answer all the questions correctly.
One of the aspects of IQ test is to guess the similarities between some things that look different at first glance. Instead of 4 words, this app presents four different pictures which look different, but share one common trait. Your job is to see the similarity and guess the word to get the score. For example: you will see four pictures depicting a beach, ocean, waves, and waterfall. The words should contain five letters. You can form the word from the letters the app provides. What is the correct answer to this word puzzle? The correct answer is water.
If you enjoy photography, you will enjoy this word game. The pictures in the photo game are high quality and beautiful to look at. The pictures depict various objects and sights from all over the world, and is a relaxing picture puzzle that is entertaining at the same time. The app features easy game control, simply tap on the letters to form a word that describe the pictures. There are four levels of difficulty: beginner, easy, medium, hard. Breakaway Daily Interview with Quote This Project founder Ross DiStefano
Quote This Project is the Android app for homeowners & tradespeople.
Quote This Project app is revolutionizing the way trades people and contractors attract new customers. The app eliminates the need for expensive advertising. Instead of posting ads to attract new homeowner contracts, this app does the exact reverse. This app provides these contractors with notifications of all jobs that pertain to them as soon as a repair or new project gets posted by a homeowner in their community. This is a must have app for all contractors, skilled trades people, even for college or university students who need to make extra income. Its also a must have for the homeowner who needs a repair, housework, home improvement or renovations without searching for days for the right person to hire for their project. This app automates this entire process between contractor and homeowner with an excellent rating system as well.
Are you a homeowner looking to get work done in your home? Are you having trouble finding tradespeople who can actually help you get your project done when you want? We have all experienced how hard it is to find someone you can trust with your home projects. Your entire workday or free day can be spent on trying to find that painter, gardener, electrician, deck builder, landscaper, someone to assemble your Ikea furniture, someone to clean your windows and gutters, someone to tile your bathroom, and the list of projects could be endless! Quote This Project app helps remove the homeowner’s frustration on getting projects and repairs done at the best cost, in a timely fashion, and without wasting countless hours searching through internet ads.
On the flip side, the app was designed to help skilled people search for repairs, projects, small to large renovations, and household chores without spending a huge amount of time and money for advertising. Quote This Project makes it simple to find new jobs that match your working area, your expertise, and your schedule! Choose the jobs that you wish to work on. Simply define your skill-set & expertise, and your working radius. The app will notify you once a job matches your criteria and you can connect directly with the homeowner over the app.
“The app is very unique where it helps both homeowner and tradespeople,” Founder Ross DiStefano told Breakaway Daily. “No need to call everyone you know, like friends and family, asking for someone to get your repair or project done, or searching through a tremendous amount of online ads. You simply post your project or what you need to get done around the home and wait for responses,” DiStefano explains.
“Tradespeople will no longer have to do expensive advertising that could be looked over, and flyers that just end up in the trash,” he continues. “Tradespeople will get notified when projects or repairs get posted that fall within their skill level. Instead of searching for work, we deliver the notifications to them. This relieves the stress for homeowners and provides the tradespeople with multiple projects or repairs to choose from. Tradespeople and homeowners don’t have to look for each other. They will come together through the convenience of Quote This Project.”
BREAKAWAY DAILY: What are some of the app features?
ROSS: This app helps with unemployment. This app provides skilled people the opportunity to make additional income without spending thousands on marketing and advertising their trade. It keeps tradespeople working in their own community. Homeowner posts their project or repair and get it done on time without speaking, interviewing and making several appointments for tradespeople to visit their home. Homeowner can add pictures, description and desired date of project completion. The homeowner does not have to give out their home address or phone number. All communication is done over the app; homeowners and tradespeople can communicate over the chat feature. Homeowners are able to rate and comment on the tradespeople they hire. There are over eighty-four trades categories to choose. From attic cleaning, deck building, snow removal to pest removal, home IT support, IKEA furniture assembly, electrical, plumbing and much more to choose from. Tradespeople will be notified instantly when homeowners post their projects or repairs.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: What prompted you to develop this app?
ROSS: I was working on my landscaping in my backyard. I hurt my back laying flagstone and decided to "Google" landscapers in my community. After three days of phoning everyone listed and asking family and friends for landscapers to help finish the flagstone project, I decided to take action!
BREAKAWAY DAILY: Is the app free?
ROSS: The app is free for homeowners and there is a small fee of $4.99 per month for tradespeople or $50 per year. This allows tradespeople or anyone who is interested in responding to homeowner projects or repairs to see all projects being posted in their community.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: Can you talk about the app’s referral program:
ROSS: The app also pays for referrals. Anyone who refers a tradesperson, and they successfully register on the app, will receive $25.
BREAKAWAY DAILY: Can people use this app from anywhere in the world?
ROSS: We currently offer the app in North America, Australia, and the UK.

Moiety was specifically designed to be able to follow people and families throughout all stages of their lives. This beautifully designed app provides unlimited customized calendar groups (called crews) where users can customize events, places, and actions for each calendar crew they create.
Moiety takes advantage of using gesturing commands instead of text typing to easily create, customize, track and control your complicated family schedules, co-parenting roles and expenses. Moiety was designed for all types of families who are looking for a simple, elegant way to manage their complicated lives, without the social media mania found in other apps.
The exciting new app also adds social capabilities to scheduling, allowing users to invite contacts to join a shared calendar group, or keep their calendar private. From there, all of the events are created on a single screen with a few taps. No more texting, calling or re-entering common calendar events.

"The app was created for all family types, particularly with co-parenting in mind, designed to restore communication and rebuild cooperation through a neutral, text –free setting,” A spokesperson from Moiety states. “We believe the technology associated with co-parenting is largely underserved because it takes a particular quality to have the vision, strength, persistence and commitment to invest in a solution for families in potentially difficult / complicated dynamics.”

Career Highlights for Paul Vogelzang:
Paul Taylor Vogelzang is an award-winning blogger, podcaster, writer, producer and style fanatic, known for his down to earth accessible reporting and advice for men and women 50 + age, and their families. Paul was one of the founding editors of MommyCast & MommyCast Latina, the wildly popular, very first mom podcasts in audio and video, and its producer from 2004 to 2009. Paul’s current, but also award winning podcast, The Not Old – Better Show launched in 2014. Paul continues to share vibrant, focused, entertaining content on the show, and writes frequently about the subjects of fashion, grooming and the “senior man.” Paul lives just outside of Washington DC, with his lovely wife, Gretchen (also a MommyCast founder), and where the two of them are active in many arts, business and philanthropic organizations, love to feed the Northern Wren, and are the parents of two sons.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: When did you first start your podcast Not Old Better Paul?
PAUL: December 2014
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: For anybody that doesn’t actually know what a podcast is, can you briefly explain it?
PAUL: A podcast is an audio or video program, akin to radio and TV, that is broadcast over the internet using podcast technology and is often found via iTunes, or other online resources, and podcast apps on mobile smart phones. One of the unique podcast attributes is that listeners and viewers can “tune in” whenever and wherever they wish, making it portable, “time shifted” programming, and the freedom to enjoy the program in the gym, in the car, at home or work. The program is available free of charge.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: What sparked the idea for creating this podcast, and website NotOld-Better.com?
PAUL: As a 50+ age person, I found very little in the way of information about today’s culture, entertainment, literature, music, technology, fitness, grooming and relationships, and many other areas, with any sense of objectivity, balance or awareness about how being “north of 50” can mean many different things, and isn’t about “healthcare and social security.” Additionally, when first thinking about how to do this, i.e., the podcast idea, many people “north of 50” said straight out: “no one will listen, watch or pay attention to a show dedicated to this age group.” So, I began with a “chip on my shoulder” to prove it could be done.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: What are some of the features of the show?
PAUL: The Not Old Better Show features diverse international content. Not only does the show conduct and oversee interviews with some of the world’s best known aging personalities, but we also travel to the top domestic and international destinations to bring you the stories you want to hear. Because we are based in the Washington DC metro area, we are very accessible for policy, finance, health, government leaders eager to reach our important audience.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: Can people of all ages listen to it?
PAUL: Yes, of course, and we find that many family members of those 50+ love to watch and listen, because of the tips, resources and great programming we offer.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: How many episodes do you produce a month for Not Old Better?
PAUL: The Not Old Better Show is produced one to two times a week, and each show is roughly 25 – 30 minutes long.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: In your opinion Paul, what makes a good podcast?
PAUL: Consistent shows, great subjects, focus on the audience, ease of access, and constantly refine, and develop ideas.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: What podcasts do you enjoy listening to?
PAUL: I have been podcasting for a long time (first MommyCast & MommyCast Latina, and then others), so I’m a huge fan and I listen to many different podcasts, but love current event podcasts, news shows, entertainment, social media podcasts, and Terri Gross!
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: Can you describe the app for the show that is now available on Google Play and Android, and why people need to download it?
PAUL: Because The Not Old Better Show offers wide appeal, it is available for download, stream and viewing on many sites, locations and social media channels. The app extends this wide availability further and allows subscribers to get access to new programs immediately, as well as revisit features and topics they’d like to review, follow more deeply and locate the interview or show they want quickly. In addition, the app gives fans ease of use while in the car, with the new “Auto Mode” functionality! We’ve even provided for aging eyes with our special features displaying larger screens and playback controls. If you’re a fan of the show, you won’t want to be without it.
I BREAKAWAY DAILY: Can you tell the readers a bit about your background and how you first became involved with making podcasts?
PAUL: After leading the first digital efforts for the Department of the Treasury, Tenet Health Care, Omnicom, Porter Novelli, Procter & Gamble, Warner Bros., and Disney, I founded and served as COO of KDCP Interactive in 2004 - the first company to offer branded entertainment to the “Mom” and family audience. KDCP produced, designed, developed, launched and managed the online communities of MommyCast and MommyCast Latina, for sponsor companies including State Farm, CIBA Pharmaceutical, Microsoft, America Online, A&E Networks, Disney, Focus Features, Ford Motor Co., Hallmark, iVillage, Kraft, Martha Stewart Living, MetLife, MTV, NFL, Showtime Networks, and VH1 among others. I also served the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as North America, Director, Public Affairs, and was responsible for media outreach, digital support and education from 2010 to 2012. In 2006, KDCP became the first interactive company to be represented by William Morris/Endeavor Agency, and Believe Entertainment Group. KDCP also celebrated another first, as a technology platform for performing deep quantitative and qualitative consumer research across social media (social listening) for the mom demographic. KDCP delivered consumer insights based on women and “mom” online behavior and associated business and marketing strategies to a wide array of tier one brands including Aetna, America Online, American Express, Bristol-Myers Squibb, CVS, Dean Foods, DuPont, ElectronicArts, IBM, Kodak, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, GM, WebMD, and others. In 2010, MommyCast, nominated by sponsor partner Procter & Gamble’s Pampers division, won the prestigious EFFIE Award, Media Innovation, Technology & Sales Quantification category. Based on P & G Pampers Business Goals and Equity Enhancement Goals, MommyCast and MommyCast Latina delivered “10.7 MM downloads to over 2MM unique moms, 38% of which are Gen Y moms, and incremental sales volume of over $4 MM, double the $2 MM going-in ROI.” (Source: Dynamic Logic and P & G). The EFFIE Award, and EFFIE Worldwide, “champion the practice and practitioners of marketing effectiveness.” The EFFIE Awards are known by advertisers and agencies globally as the pre-eminent award in the industry, and recognize any and all forms of marketing communication that contribute to a brand's success through sales.

The Artists Dashboard is a place to advertise your art via social media
The Artists Dashboard is a free site that helps other artists get their work displayed online. It gets their work in front of people who enjoy it just as much as the artists who make them.
The Artists Dashboard was founded by Ruby Jean. She is an artist who loves to draw and who was drawn (pun intended) to the idea of helping other artists get a following on social media, specifically on Instagram. She loves to see fellow artists works, and Instagram is one of her favorite platforms for idly viewing artwork from all kinds of people. In response to this love of hers The Artists Dashboard was born.
