Why not? More business means more profit and you may get more recognized.
It just feels icky participating in this system.

ameliaberry:
It is. Though I’m not sure how Rachel will take it…
Oh...Right.
santanawhatsit2ya:
Santana Lopez: Claro que si, Mami! I’m in dire need of one of your scones!
Briana Lewis: I can have one hot and ready
socialite-kathummel:
Not just that. I mean yes you can bake the hell out of anything. But your determination, your drive and I mean you are hot as hell so there is that too.
You are flattering me way too much, Missy
supercooper:
That’s a sign that you’ve accomplished great things though, which makes it a good feeling. For me, at least. I’m totally stoked about what I can accomplish.
What did you accomplish?
Social Media Post
Santana Lopez is… exhausted. And lonely.
Status Update: Well there goes another 22 hour shift. Now I’m off for the next 48. What to do, what to do.
Briana Lewis: Get your butt to the bakery!!
Whoooo! It’s been a long day, which is lame, but buckle up your seatbelts because I’m online and ready to mingle. Which means, I guess the day couldn’t have been too bad, could it?
I feel like it was a long day for everyone! I know I’m beat.
xoqfabs:
I’m not entirely sure I could defend someone knowing that they’re guilty. I know plenty of lawyers who struggle with the fact that they’ve had to fight for someone who did something horrible because it’s their job to and they have little choice in the matter. I don’t know if I could sleep at night.
Right. No, me neither. Luckily my job just involves baking people cakes.
ameliaberry:
It’s a good thing. We like each other, we get along…we can work this out.
Okay, that’s a good sign, right? I’m glad that’s the case so you’re not miserable.
ameliaberry:
That means how much we need to catch up.
Finn Hudson.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
sam--evans
Sounds good. Do you think business will pick up now that the lotteries have started?
Yeah, for sure. Not that I’m happy about that.
xoqfabs:
I don’t particularly enjoy knowing there are some people who know that they’re doing something wrong by pursuing a lawsuit just because they want money, but it would be a lot worse if I was in criminal law.
No, I definitely understand that. Criminal law just seems heartbreaking in some cases and maddening in others.
socialite-kathummel:
Its the truth, I have always admired you.
For my baking skills, obviously.
sam--evans:
Thanks, you’re a lifesaver. I bet business will pick up for you since the couples have been chosen and need to plan a wedding in three months. Do you make wedding cakes?
I do make wedding cakes, yeah. Every lottery brings in a bit more business. I’ve thought about saying I won’t make cakes for lottery people, but that feels more like punishing them than the system.
socialite-kathummel :
I love your attitude I really do. You are truly a very beautiful spirit inside and out, I hope you know that.
Thank you, Kat, that’s really kind of you to say.
sam--evans :
Great! Just let me know when it’s ready and I’ll come and pick it up. You’re a lifesaver saving my sweet tooth.
I should have them tomorrow by about two. No problem.
andreclarington :
That’s rather nice of you.
Sounds like I know where I’m going to be hiding away for the next few days.
It’s what she deserves.
The door is always open. Well, during business hours.
