Not exactly. I don't even know what his damn problem is because I haven't done anything wrong, he's just so fuckin' up his own ass. And it fuckin' hurts me 'cause I've tried so hard to keep our family together our whole lives 'cause our parents ain't easy to deal with, but I always had to keep to peace and even then, I had to turn against them for both of my brother's but do I get a thanks? No, of course I don't. I'm just so done.

A Whole New World || Brick & Cindy
Cindy crouched low as they got to the rock formation wondering why she didn’t suggest going through Hogsmead and just made a face at him at him as he gave her a grin. She wanted memorable didn’t she? She stayed down low just watching the other as he pulled out his wand. “What are you doing?” She whispered quietly and watching the rock move, almost horrified but just watched as the tree pay no attention whatsoever to what was going on.
Her eyes widen slightly as she watched the passage way become open and looked at him, not believing that it would possibly lead the way. She quickly got up on her feet as he took her hand and glared slightly at the grin that was spread across his face. “What this wasn’t fun already?” She asked before she was feeling dragged and picked up her legs to start running at his command. Determined not to scream she bit down on her lip and followed him. It didn’t take long before they came to a stop since they were no longer in danger and smiled.
"You are- seriously insane!” She laughed and looked over making sure she hadn’t dropped anything and straighten out her hair. “We are not going that way coming back. Understand?” Still she wasn’t mad while she said that, after all she was a Gryffindor, all this was a bit of fun even though it was also a bit scary. She continued to follow Brick hoping that they would eventually be lead to their destination.
Brick tugged the girl's hand, dragging her down the passageway with him as he ran full speed to avoid the Whomping Willow's branches swooping down to take out the intruders. He continued to sprint until they were halfway through the tunnel where Brick slowed himself down, needing to catch his breath.
Looking over to Cindy, he grinned widely, "I'm not seriously insane," He said, "Just a little." And he burst into laughter, which only hurt the stitch that he'd just pulled in his side. "Fuck, I'm so unfit. Maybe yeah, we'll take the normal route on the way back." Brick said with a smirk, leading the way through the tunnel toward the bright light approaching them.
Once they reached the end, Brick jumped out into the open and spread his arms out, "Ta-da!" He announced, "We're now in Hogsmeade, right by the station." Brick beamed, more than pleased with his little shortcut that was certainly far more entertaining than the usual, boring walk. "You know," He began, stepping down from the hill and onto the pathway, "I realised earlier that we could technically apparate to London, 'cause I just have to hold onto you, but I'm thinking that the train would definitely be the safer option because last time I apparated, I splinched-- God knows what'd happen if I tried it with the two of us." The boy laughed with a shake of his head, tugging the strap of his bag up his shoulder. "It's still a wonder how I even managed to pass my test."
The two continued to walk down the path until they arrived at the station. With tickets pre-purchased, it was the simple task of getting to the right platform and waiting for their train to arrive. "This is gonna be one hell of a long journey."
I don't want you to want to run away, though, Brick. I want you want this completely. I can't let myself get hope again because the last time I did it only backfired. They found someone better. I didn't even get a fucking chance to prove anything to them and they left. And it was someone I never thought would leave me. The fact that you want to run away from what we could have before we even have had it scares me. A lot. *Gently tilts Brick's chin up so their gaze meets again* You seriously need to want this, Brick, because a lot of shit is going to follow if anybody ever finds out. And I don't want to deal with that if you don't truly feel like I am the one you want around all the time. But if I am. I'd make damn fucking sure that no asshole ever trashed you. I'd defend up through thick and thin. But I can't fight it alone.
It isn't you that I want to run away from though, it's myself and my family. *he says softly, gently placing his hand over roger's* If I ever ran away then I'd be offering for you to come with me and I mean that. *brick tilts his head forward so that their foreheads are pressed against each other, their noses gently brushing* I do want this, alright? But... it isn't gonna be easy 'cause you know how I am and you know that I could flip out at any moment, but you should also know that if I ever say anything really shitty then I don't mean it 'cause you're the only fuckin' person who's made me happy in a long, long time and I don't want to lose that. I want... I want to see where this could take us, if it does take us anywhere.
*Looks back out the window because for some reason that hit him harder than it should have* I was really just a mistake for you, wasn’t I? I mean I know it shouldn’t hurt as much as it does, but it is really kicking my heart in the ass. *keeps talking as if this was what they were even talking about before* I just wanted to feel like I wasn’t always going to be a damn mistake for people, like maybe someone actually thought something different of me. But the truth is, no one ever could. *Scoffs softly* You hate yourself because you think you have no one, I guess I really amq. If you wanted to you could have confineded in me, but you don’t want to. I mean its not like I even told anyone what we did. *Looks over at Brick again* You were my first, Brick. You were the first one to ever have me completely and you will be the last. I only want you to…know that. I want you to know that you can trust me and I will be there no there what, okay? Just…don’t go. I don’t think I could handle someone else walking away from me.
*brick's brows knit together as roger speaks before he sighs* You... you weren't a mistake. *he confesses* I don't regret what happened, alright? I just... I haven't really spoke to you since because I didn't think you wanted anything to do with me. *he finally lifts his head to meet roger's gaze* I don't wanna be alone anymore, I... I want you as something constant in my life, you know? *and as he speaks, brick slowly crawls over to roger and rests his head on the boy's shoulder* I'm not gonna walk away, as much as I'd like to, I won't.
*Looks over at him now* What's so wrong with Brick Plutonium?
*brick forces a laugh* Ha, everything, apparently. His brothers can't stand him, he can't keep his family together, his temper's too short, he says things he doesn't mean, he has nobody to confide in, he has nobody that he trusts, he's just... pure shit.
Fucking idiot, I never said you don’t fucking care. You can care for people and take fucking quips at them Brick, which you fucking do. All the time. You make people feel like shit, which is fine and dandy you’re my brother I fucking love you, but I can’t fucking stand you. So good fucking news, the feeling is mutual. Glad we’re on the same page about not talking anymore.
But like I said, Boomer knows that I never meant anything that I said. It's called a fuckin' joke so I think he realises that and why are you so fuckin' quick to defend him anyway? I'm sure if he had his problems with me then he'd be the one to say something but instead he's tellin' me how he don't ever wanna lose me. *brick turns his back to butch and sighs* It's a fuckin' shame 'cause I used to have all my trust in you and I used to be able to go to you about any problem that I had, but now... you're just nobody.
*Stopped listening to Brick after he said he tries his hardest and gets nothing in return* Brick, this is not your fucking hardest. Your fucking hardest would not be taking a quip at Boomer every fucking chance you get when you fucking talk to him. Like I just fucking said, want to talk to me? Get to know me? Go get a fucking drink with me. I can’t remember the last time we’ve done that. ‘Kay?
*he shakes his head, in disbelief that his brother could be so arrogant* I don't fuckin' take a quip at Boomer whenever I get the chance. I fuckin' love him to pieces and he knows that 'cause since I've been back, we've actually had a heart to heart and he knows that nothin' I say is ever meant maliciously. If I take a quip at him, then why was I sayin' to him how I'd always be there for him? That I love him and he'll always be my brother, that I don't care if he's gay or not? Yeah, that's me being the fuckin' arsehole as usual. *brick stands up and shakes his head once more* That's the thing though, Butch-- I don't want to talk to you. Not anymore.
*Even if Brick didn't realize it, whenever he spoke that way it only hurt Roger more. A part of hum wondered why he was so different with Brick. When Butch pulled his stunt Roger didn't even give him a second chance, he didn't even want to attempt to fix things between them. Yet Brick was making Roger feel like a hideous monster whenever he spoke about forgetting everything. He walked over to the window Brick looked out of and also looked out of it* What would you do if you had that chance right now? What new life would you start?
*as he looks through the glass, brick shrugs his shoulders* I haven't really thought about it in depth. *he admits* But I'd travel somewhere far away so that nobody knew my name-- maybe go over to the States and just completely reinvent myself. Give myself a whole new identity with a different family that I'd just make up and I'd pretend that they actually cared about me if anybody asked me about them. *brick turns from the window, focusing back into his lap as he cracks his knuckles individually* Just be anyone but Brick Plutonium 'cause frankly... I'm sick of him and sick of his family.
Even though it's a new year...
*Even though it hurts to talk to him, Roger does it with a smile anyway* Yeah. Sex, booze, and no fucks. That’s the way it should be with everyone. *Holds his bottle up and tilts it a little towards Brick* Not like most of the shits you give a damn about give one back anyway, right?
*brick gives a nod, crossing his legs as his gaze fell back to his lap, not even noticing roger tilt the bottle toward him* Exactly that, nobody gives a shit. Not even when I do so much for them, they just don't care. *he turns his head to stare out of the window* I can't wait to leave this place... just... start a new, y'know? A whole new start away from fuckin' everybody.
