I’m not living in the middle of nowhere, there’s about four pubs in walking distance of my house. Not that I really do getting drunk, anyway, ‘cause neither of my housemates do and I work most days, and… Well, I just don’t see the point in it, anyway.
Wow. Okay. I don’t know how to respond to that. Who do you live with? Your grandparents?

I can apparate, though, if I ever want to go to London. Which, honestly, other’n for work or seein’ friends who live there I don’t see the appeal in. It’s not that great. Or the only city in the UK. The only difference’d be I’d be living somewhere else and have a different story to tell the muggles I know. And I’d have less money an’ space. It doesn’t really seem worth it.
You aren’t relishing your youth! You can’t apparate home at 1 AM when you’re drunk out of your mind but if you’ve got another person you can walk. That’s the main benefit of living close to the city in my opinion.

And it’d still be the same price as I pay now for a three bedroom house with a garden, parking and actual beds. Seriously, I looked into it. It’s not as if it changes the commute all that much.

I mean. No. No, Liz ain’t. She’s a muggle. That’s why it was all a bit awkward there. I don’t really study in Manchester. I just told people from back home - my parents’ town that is - that I’m doing Open University to explain why I’m living in Lancashire, ‘cause I can’t exactly say I work in London from living there and if I say Open University I avoid so many questions about what exactly my job is, or what I’m doing living out of student halls or whatever. Turns out I should have put more research in, because the Open University in the North-West’s based in Manchester.
That is way too complicated.
You should move closer to London until you figure out a better system.

I had a friend who met loads of her friend’s friends in a really short amount of time, all accidentally and she was starting to find how small the world is really ridiculous. We had a pretty long conversation about it, actually.
