Brieya Silverweb has autism, suffers from night time epilepsy, along with being a Vibrant. A Vibrant is magic user, being able to use their blood to influence energy by a mere drop if well trained. They are more in tune with the world around them. Having empathy along with what having autism brings to the table, information overload is commonplace, and risky.
Brieya's experience is based on my own. It is based off my works with meditations, metaphysics, art, years of speech therapy, and more. A good 40+ years of experience. There is not enough out there for us. about us. This is my contribution. I don't know who it will reach, who it will help, if anyone. I do know telling stories helps me with my day to day life. I can only hope it will help others who happen to find these tales.
The fae realm of stories have always fascinated me. Mostly due to how fairies were seen as 'not like humans' due to how they think and perceive reality differently. Wow, if this doesn't shout out to those who know what this feels like, I don't know what else could. Their temperament, how to appease them, each one having their own preferences and quirks.
The subject of blood being used in magic is old hat, so to speak. Here, in the stories, it is how Vibrants mark one another, create contracts and pledges. Understanding, feeling, hearing, even seeing vibrations is part of being a Vibrant. Each Vibrant has their own version of the talent. Very much like autism, it is a spectrum of possibilities and takes years of training.
