This is gonna be a long post. I came up with everything myself and relied on picrew for the design since I can't draw, and as far as I know, picrew doesn't use AI. My OC and everything concerning her will be all under the cut:

Appearance: Akane is short and has an athletic body. Her skin is tanned from the sun. Her hair is black and soft, kept either loose when she's relaxed or tied in a messy bun at the back of her head. Her eyes are blue and wide, observing. She has two cat-like fangs constantly poking from her lips.

Personality: Akane is very proud and confident of herself and her skills. She carries herself with pride despite her humble background, head held high, not letting anything or anyone deter her or humble her. She can be a little sarcastic and even a little bit of a jokester, making jokes in tense and dangerous situations. Very little scares her, always rearing for a fight, in combat is the first to attack and the last to retreat. She doesn't give respect easily, and the best way to earn it is to beat her in battle. Likes to put on a public facade of looking down on most people and knowing more than she does, especially in stressful or new situations to hide her lack of knowledge in the moment. Definitely can come off as a little bit of an asshole. Deep down, she's very kind to children and the elderly, helping wherever she can. That soft side of hers is something she hides, and she doesn't show often. She is very fierce and loyal, passionate and overprotective of the people she likes and doesn't hide her dislike or distaste when she doesn't like or trust someone.

Favorite food: Beef yakitori. Anything with beef in general.
Least favorite food: Anything with onions or many spices in it. She doesn't like the smell.
Style: usually likes to go for comfy crop-tops paired with either leggings, shorts, or skirts. Something that'll allow for ease of movement.
Favorite colors: Black, red, and purple.
Least favorite colors: very light greens and yellows. These colors genuinely hurt her eyes if she looks at them too long.

Clan lore and Mythos:
Akane is hailed from the Tora clan (made up clan), a clan whose members are known for their tiger and feline-like characteristics. Their mythology states that the clan formed when a powerful tiger beast landed injured from the skies and to the Earth, at the outskirts of the village, in the times of the 1st Hokage, when the village of Konoha was still new and recent. The feline beast was found by a humble man who showed it mercy and decided to help the beast and heal it to health with help from his family. As a reward, the tiger granted the mans' family and their descendants tiger like abilities and powers: all of them were as strong as 10 men, possessed incredible night vision as well as enhanced senses, in addition to super human speed and agility, and a natural affinity for the elements of: wind, earth and fire, before the tiger rose to the skies again. The man and his family were grateful but tried to hide their abilities as they didn't want to become shinobi and be involved in their wars, so they decided to lead a more tribal style of life in the forest away from the village. It was during Tobirama's time that they were found out and brought to the Hokage, who convinced them to serve the village in exchange for protection and high status. They finally agreed, and thus, the Tora clan became an official part of Konoha.
Downfall of the clan:
As times passed, the Tora clan would have constant arguments with the Inuzuka, as the Tora could do everything the Inuzuka did, but better. That led to the Inuzuka hating them and wanting to kick them out of the village, which led to many fights and conflicts between both clans. Most village residents and shinobi would side with the Inuzuka during those conflicts as they were more well-known in the village, unlike the Tora, who were considered 'outsiders'. Relationships between both clans would always be tense. Which led to the Tora getting along with the Uchiha, who were faced with similar discrimination. The fact that the Tora formed an alliance with the Uchiha just put them under more surveillance, scrutiny, and distrust. When the Uchiha were planning their coup, the Tora decided to offer their help. Some youngings of the more reckless members of the Tora clan would deviate from the plan and go out of order and kill some Inuzuka in excitement for the coup. This all would snowball, into many Tora also being genocided alongside the Uchiha by some other Inuzuka members, with permission from the council, who also just wanted to get rid of them, as they found them troublesome and a hindrance. Many of them were killed, while some others just took their kids and escaped to nearing villages. Akane's grandma Fumiko would be one of the survivors who ran away from the Leaf to seek refuge in Suna.
Origins:
Once settled in Suna as a seamstress, Fumiko would get to know a retired chunin from Suna by the name of Masaki. They'd end up getting married and having one daughter named Nozomi; Akane's mom. Nozomi would grow up in relative poverty, but she never complained, always wishing for something more. She helped her parents with their jobs (after retiring, Masaki opened a clothes shop, specialized in selling shinobi gear and outfits). But Nozomi would always wish for a better life, with high aspirations for a bright future out of poverty. Tragedy would strike her when she was 17 years old, as a rich man would find her wandering the streets alone and take advantage of her to assault her. That would leave Nozomi heavily traumatized and pregnant with her child: Akane. The rich man never faced any consequences, and Nozomi's parents and their neighbors promised to be supportive of her and offer as much help as was needed. As they couldn't afford to go to the hospital, Nozomi would end up giving birth to Akane at home, with help from a neighbor who was a midwife. After everything, Nozomi could never truly bring herself to love Akane. When Nozomi was 19, she'd come across the young son of a rich merchant from Konoha named Kenji, who was temporarily staying in Suna with some of his friends, who'd get a crush on her. Nozomi wouldn't trust him and wouldn't speak much to him. But after a whole two years of proving his worth to Nozomi and her parents and that he meant well and his intentions were pure, Nozomi would start slowly opening out more and more. She'd start trusting him more and eventually finding that he was the only other person outside her parents who could make her truly smile. On the night of her 21st birthday, Kenji would offer her to start a new life with him in Konoha. After much thought, Nozomi would agree as she just wanted to start anew somewhere away from Suna. She'd write a letter to her parents, begging them to care for Akane as she really couldn't bring herself to, pack what little belongings she had, and escape with Kenji back to Konoha to live the rest of her life there. With Kenji, she'd go to have another two kids: Kaito and Akira, Akane's half siblings, and she'd die in Konoha of natural causes, never going back to see Akane or her parents again.
Childhood:
Akane would grow up raised by her grandparents, who'd teach her to be confident and fearless and never let anything or anyone silence her voice or opinions. She'd grow in her humble neighborhood with her two friends, Emiko and Hitomi. When she was 10 years old, she'd get to know Kenta, a genin from a middle-class family who'd develop a crush on her. Akane would befriend him but never return his feelings. By spending time with him tho, he'd teach her many of the ninja basics: such as chakra concentration to stand on walls, as she couldn't afford to go to the academy. She'd have her first encounter with Kankuro and Temari at 11 one day they caught her training alone in their favorite, secret spot (she came across it by coincidence cause it was away from the main city in a private area). They'd see her training her wind jutsu, forming little breezes to produce little cuts on a log. They'd immediately strike a friendship and rivalry. With time, they'd tell each other everything about their childhoods, and they'd help her training to improve her wind jutsu with Temari's help and chakra control with Kankuro. They stayed friends for a few years, as well as have survived some dangerous encounters with Gaara together, until the sibs were chosen for their mission to crush the Leaf at the chunin exams, so they had to take their training more seriously and cut their friendship with her. As their mission was top secret, they couldn't reveal anything to her and simply saw themselves forced to cut her off with a 'as children of the Kazekage we can't hang out anymore' which made her hold some resentment and hatred for them. That's when hurt and betrayed, she decided to forge a new identity as a burglar, donning a cat mask and a cape from her grandpa's shop to start a secret life as a thief, using all her new learned skills to steal from the wealthiest families all over Suna. At some point, she'd even ally herself with some of the desert tribes surrounding Suna in a ploy to overthrow Gaara's reign and take over the village to make it theirs, which would fail. Her crimes wouldn't stop until after Gaara became Kazekage, and she was finally caught by Kankuro and Temari. When they recognized who she was, they were surprised and apologized for leaving her like that, and practically forgetting bout her after the chunin exams fiasco (obviously. The poor kids had too much stuff on their minds to remember her). Gaara would offer her a job as an ANBU that she'd accept and become an unofficial part of their family. After that, she'd travel to the Leaf where she'd find her half siblings and learn more about her clan and origins. After considering moving to live with them, she'd eventually decide to stay in Suna, but they'd keep in contact.
Relationship with Kankuro:
Akane would develop a crush on him when they were young, drawn to his passion for his puppets and his drive and iron strong will for his beliefs of protecting his loved ones. While he'd be drawn to her strong, courageous personality of never backing down and never needing anyone to defend her from bullies. Even tho Kankuro and Temari ended up forgetting all about her after the chunin exams, she'd still spy on them sometimes without them seeing her, following their rise through village ranks closely. After they put a stop to her thievery, she and Kankuro would grow closer to each other. She'd be supportive of his puppetry reservation, reformation and conservation projects, and he'd support her in her projects and ideas of extending more help and services to the poorest parts of the village where she'd grown up, providing them with cleaner spaces, streets, and offering jobs to those who needed it. Eventually, Kankuro would also help her on a secret mission to locate her 'father' (the man who assaulted her mom) and kill him for revenge with permission from Gaara. Akane would spend the rest of the night sobbing into Kankuro's arms with him comforting her. Their relationship would start getting physical on Kankuro's 23rd birthday, where they'd get drunk and after Temari notices the tension between them she'd take Gaara and leave Akane and Kankuro with some 'alone time'. They'd end up having sex for the first time that night, confessing how attractive they found each other. Once they were sober on the next day, they'd talk about it, and decide that they really didn't feel comfortable being in a relationship, so they settled on being friends with benefits (or friends who kiss and have sex sometimes, but aren't really dating). Both of them feel satisfied like that. Temari would try and convince them to start dating seriously, and they'd consider the idea, but eventually reject it as they liked their dynamic as fwb. There's some occasions at official parties and meetings where Akane had to pretend to be his gf, and those instances would help them further see they're really not interested in romance. As can be expected, that means they also never marry or have kids.

Jutsu repertoire:
1- Tora no honō (虎の炎)/flame of the tiger: breathes out a massive flame shaped like a roaring tiger head.
2- Moeru harikēn (燃えるハリケーン)/flaming hurricane: a combined jutsu with Temari where Temari creates a hurricane with her jutsu, and Akane covers it with her flames to make a spinning hurricane of fire destroying everything in its path.
3- Tatsumaki Uzu (竜巻渦)/ tornado vortex: she can concentrate her wind style chakra by joining her hands together, pressing her thumbs and index fingers together in a circle, creating a burst of wind from between them that shoots and pushes her opponents backwards, creating deep cuts in the process.
4- Doheki (土壁)/Earth walls: pretty self-explanatory. She can raise earth walls and domes for protection.
5- Kōkina Tora no hōkō (高貴な虎の咆哮)/ noble tiger roar: By concentrating chakra to her throat, she can produce a mighty roar that can paralyze her opponents for a few seconds. She can use it only once per battle.
6- Shōkan: futagu no tora (召喚：双子の虎)/summoning jutsu: twin tigers: she'd make a summoning contract with the twin tigers: Byakko and Yukitora, the guardians and symbols of her clan. She can either ride on them or use them in combat with their fire attacks.
