Do you think we will ever get a beetle juice cartoon reboot

Hey there!

So, I have heard/seen posts from people who have spoken to Alex B in zoom meetings that he HAS recorded audio for an animated musical BJ. That doesn’t mean it’s a reboot on the original cartoon, but we’ll definitely be getting SOMETHING animated. I’m SUPER pumped about this.

That being said, I’m split on the topic of an actual cartoon reboot. The original series was incredibly unique and holds a really special place in my childhood - so if they were to make a new one, I’d be nervous to see if it would be done well. That all aside, I think whatever Alex B worked on will be awesome and I’m VERY excited to see an animated musical BJ!!

I was personally on that zoom call with Mr Brightman. What clair mentioned is true: Mr Brightman said that he voiced a character based on musical Beetlejuice. I can’t imagine it's a reboot of the original cartoon, since toon Beej is so different than movie and musical, but it is exciting and something to look forward to!

Thank you for adding details, Hoo! Didn’t want to put anyone on the spot. He did say he voiced a musical version of BJ, in addition to doing other voice acting gigs. I agree- I don’t think it’s a reboot, but I’m very excited to see what we get! ♥️

When I was buying tickets for an event Alex Brightman was going to be at back before quarantine started it talked about him voicing beetlejuice in a cartoon in his description, I don’t remember which one but I know I took a screen shot of it I just gotta find it

It’s really long and I cut out most of it because it’s mostly infomation everyone knows but the end has some cool info!

At the top are the three plays that he’s been working on that he talked about in every interview during quarantine!

Also apparently he wrote and developed a Disney on Ice show???

He sold a pilot to NBC!

And lastly he’s voicing Beetlejuice in Teen Titans Go! Halloween episode which is the project I’m assuming he’s talking about which sounds really fun and I can’t wait!
