another day, another charity gala her father had organised and honestly the build up to this event had almost killed her. she wasn’t the one to dress up, she wasn’t the one to put on fake smiles and pretend to like the people tony invited (who weren’t the avengers). the young woman sat down at one of the tables where her, who she called family sat with a small smile on her face. the first genuine  smile of the night. “this? fuckin’ exhausting.”
