WHEN: Day after Red Dawn’s Ruin WHERE: On the docks
She had spent a great deal of time with Patroclus the night before. They spoke, and while it wasn’t under the best circumstances, it felt like a twinge of the old days were coming back. Fucked up as that is, given what happened. But it’s only made Briseis more hungry for what she used to have. She spent the last twenty-five years working so hard, with minimal genuine relationships, that she wants back what she used to have.
She finds Achilles, which isn’t an easy task to say the least. But she’s thankful she did. Her heels click against the surface and she has to readjust her sunglasses to see him. “You look tired.” She notes, chewing on her cheek. “But I’m glad to see you’re vatical.”

WHEN: Night of Red Dawn’s Ruin WHERE: Odysseus’ Room
There was a lot of things that happened that night. A lot that was on Briseis’ mind. So much needless grief that happened, and so much comforting that would need to be put in place. Late, after much had calmed down outside, she found herself pacing the halls as her mind wandered, when she realized that she didn’t need to do this alone. There was actually a great opportunity here.
An opportunity that means showing up to the door of Odysseus’ room, tablet under her arm and perhaps maybe freshly applied lipstick. Who was paying attention, though?
When the door opened after she had knocked, she shifted her weight onto one foot, smirking. “You have coffee in there?”

WHEN: Night of Red Dawn’s Ruin WHERE: Patroclus’ Room
She’s made it a frequent habit to see Patroclus since she arrived on Pontius. They don’t see each other enough, which would break her heart more if she allowed herself more time to think about it. Instead, she would think about which moments she could steal him away for herself. If only she could manage the same thing with Achilles, but he was much harder to grasp.
After the chaos of the night, she secluded herself for a period behind closed doors, beginning to write what she would say to the media in regards to all of this. What she could offer to prevent such tragedies from happening again. But the texts of distress came from her phone, and if there was someone who could pull her from her work, it would be Patroclus.
She had gathered her tray of tea and began for his quarters, not even knowing when she arrived, and closed to door behind her with her heel. “Your company brought favors.” She smoothly calls out, placing the tray onto a nearby surface. “Do you wish to sit or is this a moment for pacing?”

WHEN: Day after Red Dawn’s Ruin WHERE: Breakfast Buffet
Every moment was an opportunity. Certainly, what had happened was a tragedy but Briseis was not directly related to it and she spent much of her time during the night prepping for her own press release. These were moments to get others to understanding funding was needed to help prevent needless death like this. They’d understand... eventually.
So while she knew she had to eat, she was not going to waste a moment that would come her way, and the newly budded relationship with the young Rhea was going to be the best advantage she had.
Brushing past a table, she snagged a plate of an unknowing patron to grab a pastry shimmering in light frosting. Carrying herself to Zagreus’ table, she rested it in front of him with her classic small smile. “These went quickly, but thankfully I was able to grab one for myself. They’ve been a favorite of everyone’s and I thought you might need a sweet treat more than me.” She takes the empty seat across from him, folding her hands in her lap to study him. “I know I’m usually one who seeks out distractions after moments that rattle me, so I wanted to offer that to you.”
i think that the fact we could all fit in the tub means… it must be ours
“The larger the audience the better. The more pockets in the world, the more interesting and exciting because it just makes it that much more liberating. This makes it that much more liberating for the various facets of creativity to be explored.” - AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN
