After a long surgery on my leg I’m happy to say I’m walking around again. I’ll be back to full health in no time. ❤️

Pickles returned with a sleeve of crackers a Klok had seemingly conjured out of thin air, which he was busy crushing up.  He gave her a crooked grin.  “Yea, they’re pretty cute, huh?  Their shakey little tail feathers and stuff!  Hold out yer hand…”  He waited, and poured a handful of crackers into her palm so she could feed the ducks.  He began tossing crumbs aimlessly at the water, watching them scramble after them.  He chuckled.  “Not so elegant… so anyway, I’m glad yer here.  What took you so goddamn long?” he asked, the question ending on an obvious complaint.

“What took me so long?” she turned and looked at him, blue eyes gazing.. 

“I am a Princess- and I have to keep up with my brother and sister with the deeds the do, mother is hard on me..” she looked back at the pond. “No doubt because I am only her half daughter.” she sneered a little; “She had to open the portal for me you know..?” she watched as a baby ate from her hand. “....my Gods.. they are so cute..” she uttered under her breath.

Pickles gazed into her eyes, he couldn’t look away.  He smiled against her lips.  “I’ll show ya around, but yer not gonna be impressed!” he said with a chuckle.  “Yer gonna be like, oh, I never shoulda let em take him back to that shit-hole…”  His face was a faux mask of betrayal.

She’d snuck up on him in the studio.  He’d been drinking and throwing empty bottles against the wall, the floor beside the garbage can was littered with sparkles of green, brown, and clear glass.  “If I’da know you were comin, I wouldnta got drunk like this,” he admitted.  “BUUUUUT I didn’t!  SOOOOO, this is the studio…”  He waved a hand around.  “You… I didn’t hafta tell ya that…” she knew what a studio was.  The room reeked of old and new booze, Abigail’s fruitless attempts at air fresheners, and unwashed feet.  He became aware of that, and took her hand and led her out.  “Yea, it’s kinda nasty around here.”  A team of Klokateers entered the studio as they left to clean it… again.  “These guys are fackin LAZY!” he said, disgust clear in his voice.  They walked along the long, dimly lit hallway.  “We could go to tha swan pond,” he suggested, as they entered the large common area.  The television was on at a low volume, Dethklok was in the news again, there’d been a larger than usual death toll at their last concert.   “And that’s the Dethklok minute!”   Pickles had a sympathetic look on his face.  “Poor douchebags,” he muttered.

Britney was walking along with him, her arms folded as she kept herself as close to him..thinking about how she could whip these slaves(or so she assumed) into shape.

“Swans?” This was the first time she heard him speak of that..swans were elegant and lovely..but..why would he like them so? She grew curious- although seeing the living room interrupted her thought process. “Gods.” She said, as she shook her head..she couldn’t believe the filth, and the stench..

“How do you guys..”

Never mind, she thought.

“It’s not easy,” Pickles admitted, assuming Britney meant how did they endure all the annoying fans… then caught the look on her face.   That just made him snicker.  “We have a lotta servants, the hooded people, but they’re very lazy.”   The truth was, there was just a perpetual mess… the guys were often less than sanitary… He grimaced, thinking of the bare feet of a certain member.   He put his arm around her waist.  “We can go see the swans… get some fresh air, hm?”   They made their way out of the dimly lit building and into the reasonably well-kept lawns.  There were messy areas, but they were being attended to.  The competence of the Kloks was far more evident than it was in the boy’s living area.  He offered her an arm.  “They made a pond for them,” he explained.  “My swans.  This way, I can go see em any time and nobody will come take my picture and bother me.” “Well, here we are!” He led Britney to a man-made duck pond.  There were ducks swimming all about.  “Aren’t they great?” he asked with a grin.  He yelled for a Klok to bring him some ‘bread or some shit.’   The ducks quacked and ruffled their feathers, dipping their heads in the water.

. . . . Britney had no words for what she was witnessing.. it was all rather cute, or rather..stupid. She then watched Pickles.. she wouldn’t.. could she break it to him?

“Those are ducks.”

Yes she could, she folded her arms over her chest as she walked over, making small clicking noises and watched the swim over to her, where she sat down. 

“Hey look, babies.” Was all she said when she pointed.

She takes him by his shirt; and leans in smelling his breath a little. 

“You haven’t seen me for a few months.. and you do this to yourself. Either I should be very angry..or very flattered.” Her deep blue eyes gazing at him. “I was going to offer you..your favorite drink to.” she set him aside and turned her back at him.

Pickles sighed a martyr’s sigh.  “Aw, c’maan Britney!  If yer gonna be mad at me for gettin drunk, yer gonna be mad all tha time.  What else am I supposed ta do?!”  He crossed his arms and huffed.  “Only so many drum kits I can break, so many times I can fistfight with the guys before I need a driiiiink!  C’man don’t be mad…”

Perhaps she was still uncomfortable on Earth, or perhaps she just liked seeing him huffed and angry; still- she leaned into his face, and curled his red hair in her fingers.

“My little drummer boy..” she uttered; “Make me smile then..” her hand slid down, and scratched under his chin, playing with his chin hair; as she whispered; “Be a good boy then..”

Pickles face lit up with a smile.  “I already am.  I’m glad yer here,” he said, eyes on hers.  He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, pressed a lingering kiss to her lips.  “I can show ya around if ya want, or get ya a drink…”  He chuckled.

She let put a hearty laugh, "Me? Drunk? Never. It will take much more than your human alcohol. Honestly." She watched as he kissed her, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, leaning in to whisper to his lips,

"Show me around this shit hole you call a home..my pet~" running her tongue along his lips, her blue eyes just stared into his... "If I'm impressed once.. I shall let you taste me, would you like that..?" She mumbled his real name..softly, sultry.

She could do without the stench already..

"So.. you're quite the fan of that model I see?" she scoffed, "Typical.." then she pulled her hair back. "I swear; the woman is so oblivious to her appeal.. it's... obnoxious."

Hearing the others voice he turned to see who she was. “I am a big fan.” He chuckled at the scoff and watched her movements before rolling his sleeves up carefully. “I know! She doesn’t even know what she does half the time. It kills me, she is oblivious but that is also what makes things better. At least in some ways…”

She started to laugh; it was obvious she had some sort of history with Mina..

“Are you serious?! You’re all for that innocent crap?” the fair skinned woman shook her head. Disgusted by the mere thought.. “I was just curious as to see who Mina’s boyfriend is...” 

How she got intel on that.. no one will know.

“Britney Elmdor...” she flicked her black hair back over her shoulder, with uncaring eyes at him. Then she moved over, quick like; her face directly into his- her eyes were blue as well.. however..they held no soft tenderness.. much like his darling Mina’s. 

“I’m a Devil.. and you’re dating an Angel.” she smiled.. and pulled her face away. “Bet she didn’t tell you..did she?”
