Male Katie Ledecky Distracted By Parenthood?

Male Katie Ledecky, Michael Phelps was spotted at the Rio Olympics, distracted by his family. After winning his first gold medal of the night, Phelps ran to the stands to give his fiancee, Nicole Johnson, and son, Boomer, kisses before his final race of the night. Johnson graduated with honors from University of Southern California, with experience in finance, communications and marketing. She was also Miss California. 

Many worried that Phelps’ status as a working father will detract from his training.

Katie Ledecky went on to get her second gold of the Rio games in the 200m Freestyle. The US Girls Gymnastics team, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez, and Simone Biles, now known as the Final Five, got the gold in the All Around Team Final. Phelps also got another medal.
