I think you’re right about that; while we kept making these big strides forward there were people waiting to take them all back, and we just...didn’t notice them. That’s honestly the scariest thing, is how it’s not even scary anymore. It just seems like another day.

The sad thing is, I thought we were getting better. We elected a great president, we seemed to be at least making some effort to fixing some of the things that were wrong with the country...and then we threw it all away, and now we’re getting worse every day.

I think you’re right about that - the second part even more than the first. It’s like a requirement of getting elected, especially in America, that you don’t have any morals to start with.

I think so. Mean people tend to just have more mean and hatred buried underneath the top layers, badasses seem to at least have some sweet softness mixed in there. Oh, it’d be total chaos, but the best kind. The cats would be in charge of everything, the dogs would just run around being goofy, and the birds would just enjoy the chance to fly around outside.

That’s true...maybe that’s the difference between people being badasses and just being mean. Most of the time I would too, but since all you’re doing is calling them out on stage that really doesn’t seem so bad.

That’s true, although I think the worst thing we could do to him would be to insinuate that he was less than the ultimate badass. That is why I will be thanking those who threw slushies at me in at least two of my acceptance speeches. Figure it’s the least I can do since they’ll never be up there to accept anything I’ll be winning, at least that way they can hear their name onstage.

Exactly! I’m sure Mother Nature, of all people, would know the difference between the bad humans that have messed things up and the innocent pets who deserve to take the place over when we’re gone.

You’re probably right, he takes being a badass pretty seriously even though everyone who knew him knew he was really a softie underneath. That’s going to be the best kind of revenge, and I really approve.

It’s a good thing he never tried to blackmail any of us, he probably had sufficient enough material from that night alone. There’s nothing wrong with being an underdog. We were underdogs in the glee club world for almost our entire time in it and we did wonders. So long as you don’t dwell too much on the negative, things can work in your favor.

Ooh, that’s a good point. Hopefully if nature decided to get rid of us she’d be nice enough to leave a way for the house pets to take care of themselves. Like pet-friendly can openers or something.

I’m sure he did, but we knew enough about him that he’d never have tried. I mean, we know he used his fake Id to get booze, and not just that night, either. And other things, too. You’re very right there, being the underdog seemed to always work out pretty well for us! Which had a lot to do with you, because you were so good at being an underdog who wanted to show everyone you’re awesome.

I’m sure he’d back up that theory in a heartbeat. That is true, you know, I will gladly let Noah shoulder some of the blame. But just a little bit because he probably remembers far more than I do and has some stories that he wouldn’t mind sharing if need be. That would make sense, it’s sometimes hard to think of our elders as underdogs in their past, aside from Mr. Schue of course. He’s still a bit of an underdog.

She’s been nice enough to put up with us this long, so you never know - she might find it in her heart to let some of us stick around.

That’s a good call, I think his alcohol tolerance was super high, so he probably remembers more than any of us do. I think he’ll be an underdog his whole life, and I don’t mean that in a bad way - I think it’s just best for him. When he was winning sometimes he seemed lost, so I think it’s better when he isn’t.

Mr. Schue knew quite a bit about about how to run a glee club, but mostly just when it came to singing. I think his dancing was stuck in the past. He did have above average length arms and legs so it might have thrown him off kilter. I also gave you that horrible oreo concoction the next day too. Not my best plan ever. He did, He was an underdog in a past life.

I hope so. There are enough good people in the world that I don’t want everyone gone.

Dancing wasn’t his strong point, that’s for sure. I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right - he was super gangly, and that probably didn’t help. Even that wouldn’t have happened if Puck hadn’t broken into your dads’ booze, though, so it’s not all your fault. Given everything that happened with him and Sue, I think sometimes he was one in this life too.

With all of the recent natural disasters, it seems like our planet would rather us leave at this point.

You never failed to amaze us with the choreography that you two put together. I can’t imagine what we would’ve been able to accomplish if all of us were as gifted with dancing as you two. Think of how wonderful it would’ve been had we not been out of our minds thanks to that party I was determined to throw. Figgins was a true fan of ours.

After everything that we’ve done to it, I don’t think anyone could blame it for wanting to get rid of us.

I was always happy when we got a chance to show off, because Mr. Schue’s choreography was...well, it wasn’t always super. Maybe not everyone was as gifted as us, but you were all pretty amazing...except Finn. Technically, that wasn’t your fault, you were only going to give us wine coolers, but I see your point. He really did come around, didn’t he?

Valerie! That was a wonderful performance. If there’s one thing we always managed to do amazing at no matter what was going on, were the performances. Regardless of how upset we were with one another we always made something beautiful happen with them. Even Tik Tok, for the most part. If he did, we’d have to have a long discussion about his terrible decision making skills.

I hope so too, because otherwise I don’t think there’s much time left for the planet.

That was such a fun one, Mike and I really got to go nuts with the choreography. You’re so right, though, when it came time to perform we always seemed to come together no matter how hard it was. Tik Tok was stupidly good up until the end, considering we spent no time at all getting ready for it. I’m pretty sure I even saw Figgins dancing to that one.

Do you have any favorites? Considering it only lasted that one performance, I think we can rule out mind control. Otherwise, why wouldn’t he have done it more than just the once? We could’ve used it.

Hmm...well, some of them are the same as yours, like winning Nationals. Doing the dancing in Valerie with Mike was pretty amazing, the audition number that Q and San and I did, basically all the Gaga and MJ numbers that we did were all pretty amazing. That’s true, you’re probably right - he wouldn’t have gotten rid of a tool like that.
