YouSposure: The New Tappyoca?

A new website hit the scene tonight, YouSposure.com by the popular YouTube Adorian Deck.

YouSposure is a blog designed to post videos that might not be very popular, but are quality videos for visitors (like you) to watch.

YouSposure lets users submit their favorite videos on YouTube (or their own) to the YouSposure blog, if the video is good, it will be featured. This is a great new way for undiscovered YouTubers with good videos to get their name out there. 

     Hopefully this website is a hit! No word if there will ever be cash prizes or giveaways for popular videos, let's hope so!

Tappyoca Ends Cash Prizes

The startup website Tappyoca.com had its final contest last week. The website gave away cash prizes up to $500 for videos on their website with the most votes (Tapps). The webiste that started only 2 months ago is now "going stealth" and will be returing sometime in the future, without prizes.

According to the Tappyoca blog, the new service will be similar, but better. What is odd, is that a few days ago when the blog post first went up, the new version was to be without "prizes", but if you look now, that part of the post has been removed. So what do you think, will Tappyoca's return be a success, or will the lack of prizes be the end of the website?

Interview with Codysshort

BRK: When did you decide you wanted to start YouTube?

CODY: I started YouTube back in 2006 with some friends. I decided to make videos by myself in late 2008.

BRK: What kind of camera do you use? What about editing software?

CODY: right now I use a flip. The editing software that's used in my videos is final cut express and some after effects.

BRK: Who/What influenced you to start making videos?

CODY: well when I first started YouTube smosh inspired me to make videos but later on I got inspired to make vlog type videos because of deefizzy. Besides those influences, I'm constantly inspired by my friends on YouTube.

BRK: When did you get your first 1000 subscribers?

CODY: I got my first 1,000 subscribers in the summer of 2009.

BRK: What is your favorite thing about being a YouTuber?

CODY: being able to have an audience and friends that enjoy my videos is a great thing that comes with being a youtuber.

BRK: Do people at your school know about your videos?

CODY: yeah some people do.

BRK: What is the best thing that has come out of being a YouTuber?

CODY: the best thing about being a youtuber is all of the friends and viewers I have made

BRK: What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

CODY: probably working in the music or film industry.

Playlist Live
