what’s the difference between an angled aroace and an oriented aroace?
oriented aroace was asked by the creator to be kept to strictly aroaces, as in no other type of aspec. angled aroace is allowed to be used by all aspecs from my understanding.
if any angled or oriented aroaces have input please share

Yes! In oriented aroace the orientation is platonic/queerplatonic/alterous/tertiary while they are fully aromantic and fully asexual, experiencing neither of those attraction types at all.
Angled aroace is used by people locating themself somewhere on the Aromantic and/or Asexual Spectrum, meaning they do occasionally/circumstantially experience attraction of those types (romantic and/or sexual)
Adding to this, oriented aroace are “vanilla” aroaces or “full” aroaces who never experience sexual or romantic attraction but may use other microlabels such as aego or quoi that do not affect their lack of sexual or romantic attraction. Angled aroaces are acespec and arospec, meaning they may feel sexual and/ or romantic attraction to a lesser degree, rarely, or under specific conditions. Angled aroaces may be demi, fray, lith, grey, flux, or something else.
I am also the owner of the oriented aroace subreddit. We aren’t at all strict about who can use the label. For a lot of people, angled doesn’t feel right and they just feel oriented fits better. Even if this is not the most accurate, gatekeeping just causes more problems and people should be able to decide which labels are theirs on their own.
