Two Dead in Midtown High School Attack.

Queens, NY -- Tragedy stuck last night during a late winter dance at the Midtown High School in Queens as the school was the seeming attack of not one but two metahumans, a creature supposedly being called "The Lizard" and the masked vigilante Spider-Woman.
At approximately 8:30 PM, Midtown came under attack by the creature known as Lizard, attacking property and students before fatally wounding Eugene "Flash" Thompson, the school's promising quarterback. Shortly after, Spider-Woman arrived on the scene attacking the Lizard before eye witness reports claim she killed Peter B. Parker in pursuit of attacking the monster. No other students were harmed in the attack.
The Lizard was last seen January 29th, 2022, attacking Los Limones Deli in Brooklyn, stopped by Spider-Woman but not without heavy vehicular and building damage. Both metahumans fled the scene before apprehension, not before Officer Benjamin Grimm was attacked by both parties. The officer sustained no major damage.
Midtown High's attack has come off the heels of several debates and questions raised about the treatment and reverification of masked vigilantes on the streets, Spider-Woman's presence having been tolerated in the past due to her actions seemingly with the intent of helping the city.
However, the vigilante has diverted several high speed pursuits into populated areas, been responsible for numerous accounts of city damage, and now has the death of the 15 year-old Parker to account for. Sources in the NYPD say and all-points bulletin is out for Spider-Woman and citizens are requested to report any information on her identity and whereabouts. The FBI and SHIELD have been contacted with the desire to contain The Lizard, who also escaped that night, as to get the creature off the streets and cause no further damage.
An anonymous source has listed that Spider-Woman, or someone posing as such, has reportedly been posting on social media website Tumblr for the past week. The website can be found here, however, there is no concrete proof this page is owned and operated by the vigilante, but it is being monitored by the NYPD for potential whereabouts of the woman.
The Daily Bugle has reached out several times to Cpt. George Stacy for comments on the Midtown Attack but has failed to return contact. Queens lost two bright futures last night, so this reporter asks the question: why did we allow this monster to prowl our streets like we had?
