I always cry at the end of this special. It’s funny, emotional and everything in between. It’s crazy to think this family started out as a sketch on The Carol Burnett Show! Then it became a TV show and now Vicki Lawrence is still portraying Thelma in her two woman show which she does all over the country, which I was lucky enough to see several years ago. Such classic comedy never goes out of style.

There’s nothing better than watching a classic show like The Carol Burnett Show! They don’t make TV shows like this anymore. I love the musical numbers they did every week. There were so many great sketches but my favorites include The Family, Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins. #imsogladwehadthistimetogether #aclassicnevergoesoutofstyle

Reflecting on the 28 shows I saw this year, it was hard to rank them, but the pictures are of my top 5 shows! #1 is obviously @potpmusical which I saw 6 times and was truly an amazing show with a brilliant cast! I hope it goes to Broadway and tours because it’s a moving, beautiful show that more people need to experience. Seeing @rottenbroadway in Cincy and 3 times in Nashville was amazing. This show has a top notch cast and the show is hilarious! @curiousbroadway really surprised me. I loved this play, which was a little strange for me since I mainly see musicals. I think it should still be running in NY. @beautifulonbway tour was so good! I had seen the OBC in NY and this cast did not disappoint. Sister Act at @derbydinner was the best show I have ever seen there and I have been going since I was young enough to see the children’s shows, I’m now 27. Thanks 2017 and I can’t wait to see many more shows in 2018. Hoping to make a return trip to NYC for the Flea Market next year. #lovebroadway #musicaltheatreislife #potp

In honor of Hair’s 50th anniversary, I’m rockin out to @iamharleyjay’s version of the title song! It’s pretty great. In fact, the entire album is pretty fantastic! What a great way to end this Tuesday.

Rewatching this show from the beginning. I love this show so much! It makes me realize even more that @jaymelake NEEDS to be on this show as Kimmy’s cousin, long lost sister, etc. She could even sing a duet with Titus Andromedon! Oh the possibilities!

I just realized that it was 6 months ago, April 11th, that @tennesseepac announced their new Broadway season and @potpmusical was the first show of the season. I had no idea what the show was until I went to their website and heard the title song and I knew I had to see the show from that song alone! I then started listening to Dan Fogelberg’s other songs and loved those as well! That first preview was an experience that I will never forget! I laughed, cried, and fell in love with the show! It exceeded my expectations! I ended up seeing the show 6 times and made the 3 hour trip twice! I saw both previews and the 4 shows closing weekend. This cast was incredible and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this wonderful show! Ever On!!

My second Shutterfly book I made from our second trip to see Part of the Plan! I saw the show 4 times in two days! That made 6 times total including the first two previews two weeks before. My mom and I are still talking about how amazing the show was! We just nominated the show for the Broadwayworld awards, as well as the amazingly talented cast! It NEEDS to go to Broadway ASAP!
