âIf you focus on failure, you can never succeed. If you focus on being hurt in a relationship, you can never be loved.Whatever you focus on, you create.â
â John Assaraf
âAlmost all of our brokenness can be tracked back to the quantity and quality of the love we have experienced.â
â Dale Partridge
âI donât think all writers are sadâ, she said. âI think itâs the other way around - all sad people write.â
â Lang Leav, Love & Misadventure
âIf it gets awkward, let it be awkward. That awkwardness is something they created. You donât owe anyone a performance of being okay when you are not feeling okay so that they can feel better about themselves.â
â Jennifer Peepas
âBut in that moment I understood what they say about nostalgia, that no matter if youâre thinking of something good or bad, it always leaves you a little emptier afterwards.â

Feeling left out....
Ok so I literally never post anything on here but I needed a place to vent and what better place than this??
Iâm 27 weeks pregnant and honestly, Iâm hating every minute of it. The pregnant part is fine but everything else?!...not so much
Everyone is excluding me from things and I feel so alone. I brought it up to my S/O and he made me feel as though I was overreacting. How I feel is how I feel and I cannot believe he had the audacity to tell me itâs in my best interest.
I just need everyone to stop worrying about my health and what THEY think is best for me. I can handle myself and I can make my own decisions about what is best and how much I can handle.
Iâm genuinely not a social person so for me to actually feel as though Iâve been left behind and that Iâm lonely is a HUGE deal to me. I just wish people understood.
âIf I tell you I need you, do not take it lightly. I do everything I can to never have to depend on anyone, to never show weakness. and if I say I that I need you it means I am trusting you to catch me if I fall.â
â ilovemylsi (via resqectable)
âIt took me a while to fall for you. Itâs going to take me an even longer time to get over youâŠâ
â (via love-diaries)
âI may have lost someone who didnât love me, but you lost someone who truly loves you.â

âMillions of people have decided not to be sensitive. They have grown thick skins around themselves just to avoid being hurt by anybody. But it is at great cost. Nobody can hurt them, but nobody can make them happy either.â

Try to get back to that time. Always. Keep going.
I Knew...
And all of a sudden I looked over and you were dancing in the kitchen with the cookies in your hand. Thatâs when I knew you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
5 Ways to Recognise Depression in Teens
Depression is a very common mental illness in teens. About 20 percent of all teens experience depression before they reach adulthood. That is a worrying statistic. However, itâs scary how many adults donât seem to realise that depression can affect children and teens. Recently when Willow Smith (Will Smithâs daughter) came out and said she suffered with depression, the comments at the bottom of many articles were slating her, asking âwhat have you got to be depressed about?â. It seems many people donât understand that mental illnesses donât discriminate between age and circumstance. Depression doesnât just affect adults. Children and teenagers can get depressed too.
Some studies show that almost one in four young people will experience depression before they are 19 years old. Itâs important to get help early if you think your child or teen may be depressed. The longer it goes on, the more likely it is to disrupt your childâs life and turn into a long-term problem. So, Psych2Go shares with you 5 ways to recognise depression in teens.
1) Â Continuous low mood or sadness
This is when youâll feel very sad and low for a prolonged period of time. If youâre feeling this way, things that normally lift your mood wonât bring you the same joy and happiness. You will also feel low for no specific reason and will find it difficult to shake off this feeling. If a teenager in your life seems to be continually low, or out of sorts it may be best to approach them and ask them how theyâre feeling. It might be good for them toâŠ
