Tired, but I have goals
Being a young adult is difficult because it is the exact point in life where you are no longer easily forgiven for mishaps like a child, yet you are still very much learning how to get by.
Being born must be the most traumatic thing. Your whole warm, dark, comforting, liquid existence is destroyed as you are squeezed through a fleshy tube into a cold, bright, harsh environment. No wonder babies cry.
Being with people who don’t listen is lonelier than being alone.
If you mix a drop of wine into a bucket of shit, shit it is. But if you put a drop of shit into a bucket of wine its still shit. Shit always wins.
“Sometimes we expect more from others because we would be willing to do that much for them.”
— Lois Lowry, The Giver
it’s always “let women and girls do what they want” and never “why do women and girls want to go through such tremendous pain to change their physical appearance to fit into arbitrary beauty standards set by industries making billions off of their insecurities“
Dying of old age is dying of not dying
one day, you will be able to say ‘i made it.’ and until then, i really want you to hold on to whatever it is that you dream of.
*loses my mind in the most silent way ever*
“Have you ever wanted to ask a question but didn’t because you knew in your heart that you wouldn’t be able to handle the answer?”
