It's weird when otaku's like ones self ask "What do you read/watch?" I mean I've read plenty of "normal" manga, which includes Naruto, Bleach, Katekyo, and others, but the one's I've read the most of include Yaoi manga. Why? Because shonen-ai/Yaoi is just my type. I like it, maybe because I'm slightly perverted but because they're good stories. I enjoy reading them, but when you're asked that by most male otakus that don't quite swing that way it's kind of a moment when you're like, "Umm well Bleach and KHR and... yeah that's about it." It's those time when I don't feel like I actually like Anime/Manga, but at the same time that's a lie. I LOVE anime, manga, cosplay, cosplayers, fanfics, and everything that has to do with anime and manga. I wouldn't go to anime conventions if I didn't really like Anime would I? Of course when I meet up with girls they'll ask what I read and I can pretty much say that 80% of the time I'll say "I read a lot of Yaoi." and their expressions match something to the equivalent of
and they'll ask me which ones, my favorite author, and occasionally doIdothings...whenIreadthem...? I don't mind answering any questions about it I am a very open person. Yaoi is my favorite genre and it won't ever change, shonen-ai is okay too, what's the difference you say? Yaoi shows a lot more action thatn Shonen-ai. It's the exact same, in my opinion, as if you're asking, What do you like Hardcore or Softcore? Hardcore by the way. Why am I making a rant about this? I've been reading almost nothing but yaoi for the past week, and remember why I enjoy it so much, not just because I'm allsexual leaning strongly towards men but because I love the stories and the beautiful drawings. Of course not all Yaoi is the same and I thank gods for that, but most of what I've read is good and I read it once or twice.
Haha people sometimes ask me If I read Yaoi then do I read Doujins since they obviously make characters that may not normally be gay, well gay. I do. I use to read a lot more a few years back but since then, I've become an advent writer and a simple doujin sometimes can't give me the satisfaction of those two characters as my mind can. I do have a stash somewhere in my computer of a plethora of doujins but I barely read them now. I don't mind them and occasionally I'll look them up on my favorite website but other wise I, now, Role Play a lot and I write and I just read plain yaois.

What's your favorite Yaoi/Shonen-ai? That's hard (haha). I don't know. I've read a lot that I like. I like "World's best first love," as shonen-ai and borderline I'd say "Dog Style," and then for Yaoi it's a tie between "Sex Therapist" and "Maiden Roze." Look them all up if you can they're great and beyond adorable except the last two they are just full of sex.
Favorite Author? That one is surprisingly easy since it's the people who write my favorite mangas. Nakamura Shungiku is the one who writes Worlds Best First Love. Kodaka-Kazuma is the one who writes Sex Therapist.
Yaoi you want to recommend? Dog Style by Motoni Modoru. It's a sweet story and it's cute.
